Most thermal cyclers in most labs have a standard 0.2 mL, 96-well block, and these plates are made for it. Ultra-thin, uniform walls give fast, even heating across every well, so edge and center samples see the same temperature profile.

Run a Partial Plate Without Wasting One
Not every run fills 96 wells. The P9602-N-T plate is a standard non-skirted 0.2 mL plate that breaks apart into strips of 8. Snap off what you need, cycle it, and keep the rest of the plate clean and ready for the next run.
For even smaller runs, use our PureAmp™ PCR tubes and 8-strips, which share the same 0.2 mL format.
ILP Plates by the Case
ILP, now part of MTC Bio, builds its plates for high-throughput labs. They are ultra-clear, virgin, medical-grade polypropylene, with thin, uniform walls and raised rims that help seals seat evenly.
Choose no skirt, half skirt, or the ABI-style elevated skirt. Plates come 10 per resealable bag, 50 per case.

Tip for Even Heating
Load plates on a flat, clean block and check that every well is fully seated before closing the lid. On non-skirted plates, a plate holder keeps wells from flexing while you pipette. Store finished non-skirted plates in our cardboard PCR freezer boxes.

P9602-N-T is a non-skirted plate that snaps apart into strips of 8 wells, so you can run a partial plate and save the rest.
Which plates are ABI style?
P9602-SRR has an ABI-style raised rim, and PC20ES-9-N-ABI has an ABI-style elevated skirt. Check your instrument manual to confirm the fit.
