Digging through a freezer for one tube costs time and warms every other sample in the rack. MTC Bio FlipTop™ boxes have lids that stay attached, so they never get mixed up, and alphanumeric grid coding on the top, sides, and bottom tells you exactly where each sample is.

They ship fully assembled with dividers in place, in the standard 5¼ × 5¼ in. footprint that fits existing freezer racks. The recyclable cardboard has a liquid-resistant coating and drain slots, and it is rated from −196 °C to +121 °C.

Polycarbonate Cryo Boxes for the Long Haul

For samples that will be stored for years, polycarbonate outlasts cardboard. R2281 and R2200 boxes are fully autoclavable, rated from −196 °C to +121 °C, and fit all standard 5.25 in. (133 mm) freezer racks.

Clear hinged lids have printed indexing, every box carries a unique barcode, and drainage slots let LN2 drain out. They hold 1.2 to 2.0 mL cryogenic vials.

Cardboard Boxes Made for PCR

The R2096 PCR box has an SBS footprint and holds 96 individual PCR tubes, 8- or 12-tube strips, or a non-skirted PCR plate. The hinged lid has an alphanumeric grid and a large marking area.

The R2392 DoubleDecker™ stacks two levels of 196 places in a 5¼ × 5¼ × 2 in. box, for 392 PCR tubes, strips, or plates in the space of one standard box.

    Orders for MTC Bio products are fulfilled and shipped directly by MTC Bio using FedEx or UPS, with FedEx Ground as the default shipping method unless otherwise specified.

    • Expedited shipping options (2-Day, Overnight) are available at an additional cost.
    • MTC Bio only ships to residential or business addresses within the United States—no PO Boxes.
    • Orders placed after business hours, weekends, or holidays will be processed the next business day, pending product and carrier availability.
    • Shipping timelines may vary based on product availability, order size, and carrier logistics.
    • Blue Tiger Scientific and MTC Bio are not responsible for carrier delays, weather-related disruptions, or unforeseen delivery issues once the order has shipped.

    Return Policy

    If a return is necessary, customers must start the process with Blue Tiger Scientific before returning any products to MTC Bio.
