Apera’s Protelyte solution is the storage and refill solution for pH electrodes that use Protelyte electrolyte, such as the LabSen 821 and LabSen 823. It is also the storage solution for the LabSen 753 and LabSen 763.
Apera’s instruction is simple: always store these electrodes in Protelyte solution when they are not in use, to keep their sensitivity and accuracy. It comes in a 4 oz bottle (AI1190).
Store, clean, refill and check your electrodes. Most pH and ORP electrodes store in 3M KCl; Protelyte and LiCl are for the specific electrodes named on their cards.

Other LabSen and Apera pH electrodes store in 3M KCl unless their manual says otherwise. Using the solution that matches the electrode’s own electrolyte keeps the reference stable.
For electrodes with KCl electrolyte, use 3M KCl storage solution. For deposits, see Apera electrode cleaning solution.
Apera lists the LabSen 821 and 823 for storage and refill, and the LabSen 753 and 763 for storage.
Not for these electrodes. Apera says to always store them in Protelyte solution when not in use.
