APERA INSTRUMENTS / ORP60-E / AI1207
Apera ORP60-E is the standard replacement probe for the ORP60 tester. Its platinum sensing element, single ceramic junction and built-in temperature sensor are designed for ORP testing in general water solutions. Apera also lists compatibility with PH60, PH60F and PH60S for ORP use.
This page supplies one ORP60-E replacement probe (AI1207), not a complete tester. Apera’s probe warranty is six months from delivery.
Only published products are linked. Other cards provide model-comparison information and do not indicate current storefront availability.
Published families link to their product pages. Other models are shown for comparison only; confirm the exact connector and host before choosing.

ORP60-E is the replacement for ORP60. PH60, PH60F and PH60S are also named by Apera. It measures ORP rather than pH when fitted to these pH testers. Do not infer a PC60 or ZenTest -Z fit.
For ZenTest hosts, see Alternative format: ORP60-DE (dedicated replacement for ORP60-Z) or Alternative format: ORP60-DA (adds ORP to PH60-Z, PH60F-Z, PH60S-Z and PC60-Z). These are distinct host roles, not interchangeable suffixes or options on this page.
A platinum sensing element measures oxidation-reduction potential in general aqueous samples.
ORP60-E uses a single ceramic junction, an Ag/AgCl reference and gel KCl electrolyte.
The exact ORP60-E instruction sheet specifies a 30 kΩ thermistor. Display and calibration behavior depend on the supported host tester.
ORP60-E specifies −1000 to 1000 mV, 0–50°C operation, a platinum ORP element and a 30 kΩ thermistor. ORP checks use a temperature-appropriate reference value; they are not pH-buffer calibration.
See the Product Specifications tab for the exact-model specifications and ordering information.
Rinse the ORP sensor after use and keep the probe cap secure. Use the supported host’s ORP conditioning and cleaning procedure; keep mating contacts dry. The ORP60 host manual specifies 3M KCl for activation, while the exact ORP60-E sheet recommends 15–30 minutes in 222 mV ORP standard to improve response.
Check the reading against the ORP standard’s value at the actual temperature. The ORP60 manual gives a host-specific ORP calibration procedure when needed. Do not apply a pH-buffer calibration or copy cleaning instructions for platinum-black conductivity rods onto the ORP sensor.
Check readings against Apera 222 mV ORP standard.
It is the replacement for ORP60. Apera’s exact product page also lists PH60, PH60F and PH60S for ORP use; these are Premium hosts, not ZenTest -Z bodies.
Yes. The exact ORP60-E instruction sheet specifies a built-in 30 kΩ thermistor. This is different from the separately sold ORP60-DA sheet’s N/A temperature-sensor entry.
The probe sheet specifies −1000 to 1000 mV and 0–50°C operation. Overall accuracy and displayed functions depend on the supported tester.
No. ORP60-E has a platinum ORP sensor, not a pH-glass measuring element. Fitting it to a compatible pH tester changes the installed sensing role to ORP.
No such E-to-Z fit is claimed here. ORP60-DE is the dedicated ORP60-Z replacement; ORP60-DA is the different ORP add-on for the named ZenTest PH/PC models. See the Alternative format links.
Remove the cap, unscrew the probe ring, unplug the old probe, align and seat the replacement, then tighten the ring. Keep the electrical contacts clean and dry. Check/condition it as directed by the ORP60-E sheet and supported host manual.
Yes. The exact ORP60-E sheet recommends a 15–30-minute soak in 222 mV ORP standard to improve performance. Use the standard’s temperature-dependent value when checking the reading.
No. Use the supported host’s ORP procedure. The ORP60 host manual explains checking with ORP standard and calibration when needed; do not use pH buffers or assume another model’s acceptance tolerance.
Order ORP60-E (AI1207) for the supported tester and sensing role listed above. This is one replacement probe.
APERA INSTRUMENTS, LLC warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for SIX MONTHS from the delivery.
This limited warranty does NOT cover accidental damage, improper use, normal wear and tear, transportation, storage, failure to follow the product instructions, unauthorized maintenance, modification or repair, or external causes beyond Apera's reasonable control.
Full official PDFs are linked below. Exact-probe instruction sheets cover the named E model; host manuals are labelled separately for operation, calibration and care. Host replacement listings do not broaden E-to-Z compatibility.
