The SX615 and SX625 are replaceable pH probes for Apera’s SX610 and SX620 pens. Each has a glass bulb sensor with a built-in temperature sensor and a slim 10 mm diameter that fits test tubes. They suit education, hydroponics, aquaculture, pool and spa, water treatment and other common aqueous solutions.

Keep the sensor wet in its cap with a little 3M KCl storage solution between uses, and never store it in pure, deionized or distilled water.
Rinse with distilled or deionized water between samples. For oily or sticky deposits, use Apera electrode cleaning solution, then re-soak and recalibrate.
Use SX615 for SX610 and SX625 for SX620 according to the exact standalone probe listings. Calibrate after replacement with the pH buffers specified for your host pen.
Calibrate with pH 7.00, pH 4.00 and pH 10.01.
Choose SX615, catalog AI1213. Both the exact SX615 product page and the SX610 host manual identify it as the SX610 replacement.
Choose SX625, catalog AI1214, as listed on Apera's exact SX625 product page. Do not infer interchangeability with SX615 from their similar appearance.
SX615 and SX625 have 10 mm probe diameters. Check that the tube opening and sample depth leave adequate clearance around the sensing tip.
Yes. Both standalone probe pages specify a glass bulb pH sensor with a built-in temperature sensor. Temperature display and compensation features depend on the SX610 or SX620 host.
Apera's US standalone pages specify pH 0–14 and 0–50°C for SX615 and SX625. Do not substitute the host meter's wider temperature specification for the probe's stated operating range.
No. SX615 and SX625 are slim glass-bulb probes for common aqueous solutions. They are not spear electrodes for penetrating soil or solid food.
Rinse after measurement and replace the cap with a little of the specified storage solution. The SX620 manual specifically identifies 3M KCl. Do not use distilled or deionized water as long-term pH-probe storage solution.
Apera's standalone SX615 and SX625 pages describe 12–24 months with proper care, not a guaranteed service life. Replace a damaged probe or one that cannot calibrate or respond adequately after proper cleaning and conditioning.

APERA INSTRUMENTS, LLC warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for SIX MONTHS from the delivery.
This limited warranty does NOT cover accidental damage, improper use, normal wear and tear, transportation, storage, failure to follow the product instructions, unauthorized maintenance, modification or repair, or external causes beyond Apera's reasonable control.
