Integrated temperature sensing, a nonrefillable reference and a clear hydration routine.
APERA INSTRUMENTS / 201T-F / AI1302
The 201T-F is an electrode-only replacement for routine water testing, combining pH sensing and a built-in temperature sensor in one body. Its blue BNC and black RCA connections match the PH700; a BNC socket alone does not establish temperature compatibility with another meter.
Choose this general-water probe when your PH700 needs a fresh sensing element, rather than buying a second meter kit.
Each card opens that product page. Different kits supply different probes and care methods. The 201T-F card is an electrode-only base-kit replacement, not an extra specialty electrode supplied with these kits.

AI1302
REPLACEMENT ELECTRODE ONLY
Compatible base PH700 sensor; not a complete meter kit.
The pH and temperature signals travel through separate BNC and RCA plugs. Connect both to a compatible meter to use the integrated 30 kΩ thermistor for automatic temperature compensation.
The gel KCl reference is sealed and nonrefillable. Maintenance means keeping the sensor clean and hydrated, not opening the body or adding calibration buffer to it.
The polycarbonate housing and detachable shield help protect the glass sensing end during normal handling. Avoid impacts, aggressive solvents and caustics.
Routine laboratory water samples within the recommended pH 2 to 12 and 10 to 50°C working conditions.
General-water checks at medium ionic strength, typically conductivity 100 to 10,000 µS/cm or salinity below 0.5%.
Replacement of an aging PH700 electrode when cleaning, hydration and fresh calibration no longer restore reliable response.
Fit the blue BNC plug to the meter pH input and twist to lock. Insert the black RCA plug into the temperature input. For other instruments, verify connector and 30 kΩ thermistor compatibility before ordering.
Loosen and remove the storage cap without striking the sensor. Rinse with purified water and gently shake off excess liquid or blot without rubbing the glass. After installation, perform three-point calibration with fresh, separately purchased buffers.
Immerse the sensing end in the sample and gently stir briefly to release trapped air, then allow the reading to stabilize. Keep the connectors dry. Automatic compensation addresses the electrode response to temperature; it does not eliminate changes in the sample chemistry itself.
Rinse the glass bulb and junction before and after each sample or calibration. Handle the sensor gently, and use a cleaning procedure appropriate to the contaminant and housing. Never scrub or rub the glass membrane to speed drying.
Keep the sensing end hydrated in the storage cap using Apera 3M KCl solution AI1107. Replenish as needed and replace contaminated solution. Never store in tap, RO, distilled or deionized water; purified water is for rinsing.
The cap is a renewable storage reservoir, not a filling port for the electrode. Do not pour pH 4, 7 or 10 buffers into the body. If cleaning and conditioning do not restore response or calibration, assess replacement.
No. AI1302 is the replacement electrode with its attached cable, shield and storage cap. The meter, holder, buffers and spare storage-solution bottle are not included.
No universal compatibility is promised. PH700 is explicitly supported. Other meters must match the pH interface and the RCA-connected 30 kΩ temperature sensor requirements.
No. Choose the exact 201T-F model for these BNC/RCA connections. A similar model name does not guarantee the same connector arrangement.
Only renew the storage liquid in the cap with 3M KCl. The internal gel reference is nonrefillable; calibration buffers are not refills.
Select a specialty electrode for prolonged temperatures above 50°C or frequent testing below pH 2 or above pH 12.
Low ionic strength can make this general-water electrode a poor fit. Use an electrode and method selected specifically for low-ion water instead.
That document lists pH 0 to 14 and 80°C. The current specification used here is pH 0 to 13 and 60°C; routine work remains more conservative.
The replacement electrode has six-month limited defect coverage from delivery, subject to exclusions. It does not inherit the PH700 instrument warranty or a guaranteed service life.
Review 201T-F AI1302 and return to the price and ordering controls. Blue Tiger Scientific can help clarify the sample, electrode and documentation requirements.
Manufacturer Limited Electrode Warranty
Apera’s limited electrode warranty is six months from delivery for defects in materials and workmanship attributable to the manufacturer, subject to its stated conditions. This electrode-only purchase is not covered by a two-year instrument warranty.
Normal wear, accidental damage, improper use, transport or storage damage, failure to follow instructions and unauthorized repairs or modifications are excluded. Keep the exact product and purchase information when requesting support.
Use exact-kit instructions and the qualifications on this page. Supplemental electrode tables may have revision differences; document titles explain their scope. Each card opens a PDF in a new tab.
