The Apera PH60-DE is a replacement glass-bulb pH probe for compatible ZenTest pocket testers and selected Premium models. It combines a double-junction design, built-in temperature sensor and blue inner gel solution for general water testing, including more complex water samples.

Compatible ZenTest tester body
Apera specifies the PH60-DE for general water solutions as well as dirty and complex solutions. Its double-junction construction is a defining feature of this replacement probe.
The rounded glass membrane is designed for liquid pH measurement. A built-in temperature sensor accompanies the pH sensing element.
The exact probe uses Apera’s blue inner gel solution. This is a construction feature, not a substitute for correct storage, cleaning and calibration.
The plug-in probe is retained by the tester’s probe ring. It is a replacement sensor assembly, not a complete meter or tester kit.
Compatibility applies to the named tester body and stated sensing role. A shared connector or a similar probe name does not make every 60-series sensor interchangeable. Tester display, connectivity, app and data functions belong to the compatible tester, not this replacement probe.
Remove the probe cap, unscrew the probe ring and unplug the old probe. Align the new probe correctly before plugging it in, then tighten the probe ring. Do not force the connector.
After replacement, soak the probe in 3M KCl for 5–15 minutes, then calibrate the compatible tester before measuring. Follow the manual for the particular tester body and use fresh, clean pH calibration buffers.
For liquid samples, rinse the probe, immerse the sensing area as directed by the tester manual, gently stir and hold still until the reading stabilizes.

Rinse the sensing area with pure water before and after measurements. Pure water is for rinsing, not storage: do not leave the probe in tap, RO, distilled or deionized water.
Keep the probe moist in Apera 3M KCl storage solution when it is not in use. Follow the storage-cap or storage-sleeve instructions for the compatible tester. Rinse away crystallized storage salts and replace contaminated storage solution.
Handle the glass sensing area carefully. If readings become unreliable, follow the parent tester’s cleaning and calibration guidance and inspect for damage rather than assuming that changing the probe alone resolves every measurement problem.
PH60-Z, PH60F-Z, PH60S-Z and PC60-Z. On PC60-Z it serves as a pH probe, not as the pH/conductivity combination probe.

No. This is a pH probe. PC60-Z compatibility does not turn it into a conductivity, TDS, salinity or ORP sensor; those measurements need the appropriate separate probe.
Apera’s US electrode warranty covers qualifying defects in materials and workmanship for six months from delivery, with repair or replacement at Apera’s option. Exclusions include accidental damage, improper use, normal wear, transportation, storage, failure to follow instructions, unauthorized maintenance or repair, and external causes. This is not the parent tester’s two-year warranty.

Six months from delivery for qualifying defects in materials and workmanship attributable to Apera, subject to its stated terms. The parent tester warranty does not extend this probe coverage.
