The pre-pressurized reference design promotes electrolyte flow through the ceramic junction in viscous samples. This is the key distinction when a conventional reference struggles to maintain contact through a thick liquid.
The electrode is non-refillable. Do not try to open it or add refill solution to its internal reference. Storage care remains necessary even though there is no routine refilling.
