The 2301T-F family uses a K=1.0 platinum-black conductivity cell and a built-in 30 kΩ thermistor. BNC and RCA plugs carry the conductivity and temperature signals.
Apera identifies long-cable versions for the DO8500 automatic salinity-compensation input. This is the separate conductivity/salinity probe, not the optical dissolved-oxygen sensing probe.
After connecting a replacement electrode, select the appropriate cell constant and calibrate according to the host meter instructions. Rinse between standards and samples and ensure the sensing area is fully wetted.
The electrode manual specifies storage in its cap with distilled or deionized water. Do not substitute the KCl storage routine used for pH electrodes. Keep both connectors clean and dry.
