The everyday K=1 conductivity electrode.
APERA INSTRUMENTS / 2301-C · 2301T-F · 2301T-S / AI1304 / AI1305 / AI1313
Apera’s 2301 series conductivity electrodes have a cell constant of K=1.0 and a proprietary brush-resistant platinum black sensor for high accuracy over a wide range, 0.5 µS/cm to 200 mS/cm. Their POM body suits harsh environments, and a detachable cap keeps the sensor hydrated. The 2301-C has a BNC connector; the 2301T-F adds a built-in temperature sensor with BNC/RCA plugs for Apera benchtop and portable meters; the 2301T-S is the 8-pin conductivity/temperature version.

201-C · 201DJ-C · 201T-S
General water pH
Economical PC-body pH electrode; BNC, double-junction or 8-pin.
301Pt-C · 301Pt-S · 301DJ-C
ORP / redox
Platinum ORP sensor; BNC, 8-pin or double-junction BNC.
2301-C · 2301T-F · 2301T-S
Conductivity, K=1
POM body, platinum black sensor; BNC, BNC/RCA or 8-pin.
2401-C · 2401T-F
High-accuracy lab conductivity
Glass body, platinum chip in a cavity; BNC or BNC/RCA.
2310-C · 2310T-F
High range to 2,000 mS/cm
K=10 platinum black ring for brines and concentrates.
DJS-0.1-C · DJS-0.1-F
Pure and ultrapure water
K=0.1 with glass flow cell against airborne CO₂.
2301-C requires a compatible conductivity BNC input and K=1.0 support. 2301T-F uses BNC/RCA with a 30 kΩ temperature sensor; 2301T-S uses an 8-pin connection. Confirm the exact meter supports the selected electrode and temperature interface; a kit mention or matching plug alone does not establish standalone compatibility.
Apera’s proprietary BPB coating gives high accuracy over a wide range, reduces polarization compared with stainless steel, and tolerates gentle cleaning with a soft brush.
A rugged body for harsh environments, lab and field.
The 2301T-F and 2301T-S read conductivity and temperature together for automatic temperature compensation.
All versions: range 0.5 µS/cm to 200 mS/cm; cell constant K = 1.0 ±0.2 cm⁻¹; sensor Brush-resistant platinum black; body POM; dimensions Ø12 × 155 mm.
The full specification table, version by version, is in the Product Specifications tab.
Rinse before and after measurements. The 2301-C, 2301T-F and 2301T-S manuals specify storing the sensor in its cap with distilled or deionized water. Do not rub the sensing element; rinse thoroughly after cleaning and recalibrate.
Calibrate with 1413 µS/cm standard, or 84 µS/cm and 12.88 mS/cm for low and high ranges.
2301-C uses BNC for conductivity only. 2301T-F uses BNC plus RCA for conductivity and temperature. 2301T-S combines those signals in an 8-pin connector for a compatible Apera host.
No. 2301-C has none. 2301T-F and 2301T-S have 30 kΩ thermistors for temperature measurement and compensation with a compatible meter.
The 2301 manuals specify K=1.0 and a conductivity range up to 200 mS/cm. Set the meter for K=1.0 and calibrate it; the probe does not extend a meter beyond its own specified range.
The 2301-C, 2301T-F and 2301T-S manuals specify POM housings, 12 × 155 mm dimensions and 3 ft cables.
Not directly. 2301T-S has an 8-pin plug. Choose 2301-C or 2301T-F for the appropriate BNC arrangement, and verify the host accepts the probe and temperature sensor.
Connect it to the conductivity input, connect its temperature lead if provided, set the meter's cell constant to K=1.0, then perform the two- to three-point calibration specified in the electrode manual.
No. The 2301-C, 2301T-F and 2301T-S manuals specify a storage cap filled with distilled or deionized water. This differs from storage for a pH electrode.
Rinse the 2301 probe before measuring, rinse again with a little sample when practical, then stir gently to release trapped bubbles. Allow the reading and temperature to stabilize without rubbing the sensor.

APERA INSTRUMENTS, LLC warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship for SIX MONTHS from the delivery.
This limited warranty does NOT cover accidental damage, improper use, normal wear and tear, transportation, storage, failure to follow the product instructions, unauthorized maintenance, modification or repair, or external causes beyond Apera's reasonable control.
Exact-model documents are identified below. Regional instruction sheets and host-tester manuals are labelled by scope; use the host manual for meter operation and calibration. Each whole card opens a PDF in a new tab.
