The manufacturer explicitly lists 2401T-F as compatible with these EC820/EC950/EC9500 meters.

APERA INSTRUMENTS / EC9500 / AI5632
The EC9500 combines conductivity measurement with derived TDS, salinity and resistivity, plus temperature and record-identification tools. Its 2401T-F glass EC/temperature probe and 606 TestBench keep the sensing cell, standards and stirring station together. USB data handling supports a documented workflow from stable reading to reviewed export.
Choose EC9500 for finer conductivity accuracy and richer record context. Its 2000 mS/cm electronics range does not extend the supplied 2401T-F probe beyond 200 mS/cm.
Each card opens that model page. Match the supplied electrode and documented sample method. Different configurations are not interchangeable upgrades, and optional accessories are not supplied unless the exact kit contents say so.
AI5620
Routine benchtop pH
LabSen 211 plus separate MP500 temperature probe.
AI5622
Routine conductivity bench
2401T-F K=1 electrode with integrated temperature.
AI5624
Routine dual-channel bench
Separate pH and conductivity heads and temperature inputs.
AI5630
Premium pH configuration
Finer pH resolution; separate electrode and temperature inputs.
AI5632
Premium conductivity configuration
Distinguish the supplied cell from broader electronics capability.
AI5634
Premium dual-channel configuration
Concurrent pH/EC workflow; optional printer sold separately.
Conductivity accuracy is ±0.5% of full scale ±1 digit, not percent of reading. Higher-range electronics require an appropriate optional electrode above the supplied cell’s rating. TDS, salinity and resistivity have separate manual accuracy specifications of ±1% full scale ±1 digit.
The 2401T-F combines a K=1.0 platinum-black conductivity cell and NTC 30 kΩ temperature sensor in lead-free glass. Connect its BNC for EC and RCA for temperature. No LabSen pH electrode or separate MP500 is needed or supplied.
Sample, electrode, user and company identifiers help organize records. The on-screen keyboard, i-Guide and calibration reminder support setup; an optional calibration password restricts calibration access. These controls do not establish electronic signatures or regulatory compliance.
Compare compatible aqueous formulations while documenting temperature, cell choice and compensation settings. Resistivity adds another view of conductivity, not an independent proof of chemical purity.
Select Linear, NaCl or Saltwater salinity processing as appropriate. The choice matters: a conductivity-derived estimate cannot describe every mixture with one universal conversion.
Use identifiers and dated manual or timed logging to keep sample context with results. Review exports and field mappings before adopting a downstream reporting or laboratory-information workflow.
Connect the 2401T-F BNC to conductivity and RCA to its temperature input. Remove the storage cap and rinse with distilled or deionized water. Confirm K=1.0; follow the probe manual’s two- to three-point calibration for a new electrode. Keep connectors dry.
The Standard series recognizes 84 µS/cm, 1413 µS/cm, 12.88 mS/cm and 111.8 mS/cm for one to four points. Only the first three are supplied. Use clean portions and rinse between solutions. Select reference temperature, compensation coefficient and TDS factor for the method.
Submerge the sensing cavity without striking the vessel. Gently stir to release trapped bubbles, then allow the reading to stabilize. Stirring changes can affect readings, so keep mixing conditions consistent and avoid a vortex. Log sample temperature with the result; temperature compensation is not temperature control.
Rinse before and after measurements. Remove excess water without rubbing or brushing the platinum-black surface. A sample rinse can limit dilution. Keep the glass cell clear of the stir bead and vessel wall.
Return the 2401T-F to its cap containing distilled or deionized water. Replace dirty water and avoid prolonged dry storage. This is not pH-reference refill solution: do not substitute KCl or apply LabSen storage instructions.
For persistent deposits, follow the electrode manual rather than improvising aggressive cleaners. Check a suitable standard after cleaning and recalibrate when necessary. Keep connectors dry and protect the glass during movement.
Use the physical meter controls for measurement and calibration, then record or save a stable result. A held display and a stored record are different functions. Screen values in photographs are illustrative, not measurements of your sample.
Use calibration solutions and settings appropriate to the parameter and fitted electrode. Temperature compensation does not make different sample temperatures, preparation methods or chemistry equivalent. Follow the model-specific meter and electrode instructions before extending the method to a new sample.
EC9500 offers manual and timed logging with date/time and calibration information. Its linked manual specifies 1000 stored sets for EC9500; published capacity descriptions differ, so confirm capacity if it is critical to your workflow.
Web PC-Link 9500 provides a USB browser workflow on desktop Chrome or Edge, with CSV and JSON exports and browser printing. The interface and export functions are documented; no physical meter connection was tested here. Verify your computer, cable and device setup before routine use.
CSV can be opened in spreadsheet software; browser printing is not a native PDF exporter. Export and back up records deliberately. Optional TH192G pin-type printing is separate hardware, not thermal printing; stored meter records must first transfer to a PC rather than print directly from meter memory.
Alternative format: Apera EC8500 portable conductivity kit. A portable configuration uses a different working format and kit. Compare the exact electrode, logging route and sample method rather than assuming interchangeable hardware or identical software support.
The supplied 2401T-F is replacement AI1309, with BNC conductivity and RCA integrated-temperature connections. Its 0 to 200 mS/cm rating remains the supplied-probe boundary.
No. That is the EC9500 electronics range. Work above 200 mS/cm requires a suitable different electrode and an appropriate calibration and sample method.
No. You receive 84 µS/cm, 1413 µS/cm and 12.88 mS/cm, each 50 mL. The recognized 111.8 mS/cm standard is optional.
The display spans -10 to 110°C. EC compensation and the probe’s stated measurement range are 0 to 50°C. The separate probe operating rating is 0 to 80°C.
No. The 606 provides magnetic stirring, a flexible holder and solution organizers. There is no heating or temperature-regulation function; control sample temperature separately.
No. Resistivity is derived from conductivity. Very low-conductivity water requires an appropriate cell, contamination controls and a suitable method; the general-purpose K=1 cell is not universal.
No universal or validated integration is promised. Check units, sample identifiers and destination field mappings. Export tools do not provide immutable audit trails or electronic signatures.
No printer is supplied. The optional TH192G is pin-type. The limited warranty covers the instrument for three years and the probe for six months, with exclusions for wear and misuse.
Review EC9500 AI5632 against the sample, supplied electrode and documented method. Return to the live price and ordering controls when the configuration fits your work.
Apera Manufacturer Limited Warranty
Apera states a limited three-year warranty for the instrument and a six-month warranty for the supplied probe from delivery, for defects attributable to the manufacturer and subject to its stated conditions.
Normal wear, accidental damage, improper use, transport or storage damage, failure to follow instructions, unauthorized repairs or modifications and other external causes are excluded. Keep the exact product and purchase details when requesting service.
Use the model and electrode documents for their stated scope. Earlier European English revisions are clearly labeled; current US memory, kit and software specifications can differ. A printer photograph does not establish printer inclusion. Each card opens a verified manufacturer-hosted PDF in a new tab.
