Fine-resolution pH/EC with guided operation and 2000-value-set memory.
APERA INSTRUMENTS / PC9500 / AI5634
The PC9500 combines fine-resolution pH measurement, conductivity and a documented simultaneous pH/EC display with a 606 TestBench. Its supplied LabSen 211, MP500 and 2401T-F form a three-probe setup: pH sensing, separate pH temperature and conductivity with integrated temperature. Choose it for expanded calibration, identification fields and more recording capacity.
For laboratories that need finer displayed pH increments and structured measurement records. The broader electronics range does not expand the supplied electrodes' sample limits.
Each card opens that model page. Match the supplied electrode and documented sample method. Different configurations are not interchangeable upgrades, and optional accessories are not supplied unless the exact kit contents say so.

AI5634
Premium dual-channel configuration
Concurrent pH/EC workflow; optional printer sold separately.
The color display presents pH and conductivity concurrently, each with temperature and stability information. The PC9500 adds i-Guide help, adjustable stability criteria and calibration reminders. These controls support consistent operation; they do not validate a method or establish electrical isolation.
The meter specification is ±0.002 pH ±1 digit. At 0.001-pH resolution, that corresponds to ±0.003 pH. Actual sample results also depend on calibration, electrodes, temperature and technique; extra display digits alone do not establish sample accuracy.
The 606 combines a flexible electrode holder, solution organizers and magnetic stirrer. Meter controls adjust and recall stirring speed. The stated 0 to 2300 rpm is a no-load rating; maximum stirring volume is 1000 mL, with performance dependent on vessel and liquid. It does not heat samples.
Compare compatible water samples using consistent temperature, calibration and sampling procedures. The included K=1 conductivity cell is not a universal best-choice sensor for ultrapure water or highly concentrated solutions.
Track pH and conductivity during compatible aqueous formulation or dilution work. Stirring helps homogenize the sample, but does not automate dosing, titration or the decision that a reading is ready.
Use sample, operator and electrode identification fields to organize research or teaching records. Conductivity-derived TDS, salinity and resistivity extend interpretation, not chemical identification or proof of purity.
Connect LabSen 211 BNC to pH/mV and MP500 RCA to the pH temperature socket. Connect both 2401T-F leads to conductivity BNC and conductivity temperature RCA. MP500 and 2401T-F each use a 30 kΩ thermistor; one shared temperature lead is not the documented arrangement.
Select fresh buffers around the expected pH. PC9500 supports 1 to 5 standard pH points, or 1 to 2 user-defined points. PC9500 recognizes four EC standards; only three are supplied. Rinse between solutions and keep calibration and sample temperatures close.
Open the pH refill plug during use. Immerse the sensing ends correctly, clear bubbles from the conductivity cavity and wait for stability. Choose suitable EC compensation and TDS settings. Temperature compensation does not eliminate every temperature-dependent change in sample chemistry.
LabSen 211 is refillable. Maintain its reference with 3M KCl and keep its sensing end wet in 3M KCl storage solution. Close the refill plug after use. Distilled or deionized water is for rinsing, not long-term pH-electrode storage.
For 2401T-F, rinse carefully and refill its storage cap with distilled or deionized water as directed in its manual. Do not transfer the pH electrode's KCl-storage rule to the conductivity cell. Keep the platinum-black sensing surfaces free from abrasion.
Keep connectors dry and protect all glass parts from vessel walls and the stir bead. Remove deposits using the appropriate electrode instructions, then recalibrate. Strong acids, strong alkalis, HF, viscous liquids and nonaqueous samples require a separate probe-suitability review.
Use the physical meter controls for measurement and calibration, then record or save a stable result. A held display and a stored record are different functions. Screen values in photographs are illustrative, not measurements of your sample.
Use calibration solutions and settings appropriate to the parameter and fitted electrode. Temperature compensation does not make different sample temperatures, preparation methods or chemistry equivalent. Follow the model-specific meter and electrode instructions before extending the method to a new sample.
PC9500 stores 2000 value sets using manual or timed logging. A dual pH/EC save consumes two sets, so an all-dual session fits 1000 paired save events by that counting rule, not 2000 paired samples.
Web PC-Link 9500 supports CSV and JSON export and browser printing on supported desktop Chrome or Edge environments for Windows or Mac. Check connection requirements and export records deliberately. It is not direct PDF/XLSX export, a validated LIMS connection or immutable storage.
The optional TH192G pin-type printer, catalog AI5671, supports the 9500 series and is sold separately. It is not thermal. Stored meter records cannot print directly to it; transfer them to a computer for printing. User IDs and calibration passwords do not establish Part 11 compliance.
Alternative format: Apera PC8500 portable pH/conductivity kit. A portable configuration uses a different working format and kit. Compare the exact electrode, logging route and sample method rather than assuming interchangeable hardware or identical software support.
No. LabSen 211 is pH-only with a BNC lead. The supplied MP500 provides pH-channel temperature through its RCA lead; conductivity has its own temperature input.
No. PC9500 electronics span -2 to 20 pH and up to 2000 mS/cm. Supplied LabSen 211 is rated 0 to 14 pH; 2401T-F is rated 0 to 200 mS/cm.
Six 50 mL bottles: pH 4.00, 7.00 and 10.01; EC 84 µS/cm, 1413 µS/cm and 12.88 mS/cm. The recognized 111.8 mS/cm standard is not supplied.
EC automatic or manual compensation is specified from 0 to 50°C. The probe manual separately lists 0 to 80°C operating temperature; this does not extend the compensation range.
No. ORP needs an optional electrode. Specialist probes for unusual sample chemistry or conductivity ranges are also separate purchases; the included heads are general aqueous-sample tools.
No. Assembled photographs show a working arrangement, often with only three occupied organizers. The itemized kit list defines delivery; a pictured sample beaker is not included.
No. It holds probes, organizes solutions and provides operator-controlled magnetic stirring. It does not heat, dispense reagents, move between samples or run automatic chemical preparation.
The limited warranty is three years for the instrument and six months for probes from delivery, covering qualifying defects. Normal wear, accidental damage, improper storage and failure to follow instructions are excluded.

Apera Manufacturer Limited Warranty
Apera states a limited three-year warranty for the instrument and a six-month warranty for the supplied probe from delivery, for defects attributable to the manufacturer and subject to its stated conditions.
Normal wear, accidental damage, improper use, transport or storage damage, failure to follow instructions, unauthorized repairs or modifications and other external causes are excluded. Keep the exact product and purchase details when requesting service.
Use the model and electrode documents for their stated scope. Earlier European English revisions are clearly labeled; current US memory, kit and software specifications can differ. A printer photograph does not establish printer inclusion. Each card opens a verified manufacturer-hosted PDF in a new tab.
