Lids-only P8025-LID and P8050-LID options are cases of 200 sterile lids, five per bag. They contain no reservoirs and are not presented as universally fitting other basin formats.

One unit is one complete case. Check reservoir versus lids-only, channel compatibility, sterility and case count before ordering. An ASPIR-8 25 mL reservoir and a standard 25 mL reservoir are different geometries.

How do I choose between ASPIR-8 and standard reservoirs?
ASPIR-8 models P7005, P8010 and P7025 have a 75 mm inner chamber designed specifically for 8-channel pipettes, in 5, 10 and 25 mL capacities. Do not select them for a 12-channel head. Standard P8025, P8050 and P8100 provide 25, 50 and 100 mL choices for broader multichannel workflows; verify your pipette geometry.
What is the divided 8PLUS4 model?
P8051 is a divided 50 mL reservoir, offered in bulk non-sterile, sterile individual and sterile five-per-bag configurations. Choose it when your protocol needs a divided basin rather than a single open reservoir.
Which options are sterile?
Base catalog numbers without a suffix are non-sterile bulk reservoirs. The -1S variants are sterile and individually wrapped; -5S variants are sterile with five reservoirs per bag. Lids-only variants are sterile, five per bag.
How many reservoirs are in a case?
Bulk P7005 and P8010 contain 300 reservoirs; other bulk reservoirs contain 100. Every -1S case contains 100 individually wrapped reservoirs, and every -5S case contains 200 reservoirs packed five per sterile bag. Prices and stock are per complete case.
Which reservoirs include lids?
Standard P8025 and P8050 reservoir cases, including their -1S and -5S options, include five protective lids per case. This is not one lid per reservoir. Included lids are not specified for ASPIR-8, divided P8051 or P8100 options.
What do the lids-only options contain?
P8025-LID and P8050-LID contain 200 sterile lids per case, packed five per bag, for the standard 25 mL and standard 50 mL reservoirs respectively. No reservoirs are included. Do not assume the 25 mL lid fits the different ASPIR-8 P7025 format.
How do these compare with Thermo Scientific 95128095 reservoirs?
Thermo Scientific lists 95128095 as a 25 mL non-sterile polystyrene reservoir with divider, supplied in 10 bags of 10 per case. MTC P8025 is a standard 25 mL non-sterile bulk reservoir, 100 per case with five lids, while MTC P8051 is the divided 50 mL choice. Capacity, divided geometry and packaging differ; these are selection comparisons, not guaranteed drop-in replacements. Verify channel spacing, geometry and recovery.
What do the trough, graduations and protective lids do?
Standard reservoirs have graduated inner walls, corner pouring spouts and a U-shaped Micro-trough designed to reduce unused reagent. Protective lids help limit debris exposure and evaporation; they are not stated to be airtight transport closures. Use a validated handling protocol.
