Are these screw-cap centrifuge tubes?

No. T0050 is a flat-bottomed, self-standing vial with an integral hinged flip-top cap, not a generic screw-cap conical tube.

What material and capacity are specified?

Natural polypropylene and 50 mL nominal capacity.

What are the dimensions?

32 × 90 mm. Confirm instrument block and holder fit against this geometry before use.

How are the vials packaged?

Sterile bags of 25, with 20 bags in one 500-vial case.

Can they be used in any digestion instrument?

No universal instrument compatibility is claimed. MTC Bio describes digestion use, but the laboratory must verify fit and the chemical, temperature and pressure conditions of its protocol.

Can the closed vial be heated under pressure?

No sealed-vessel pressure or maximum digestion-temperature rating is established here. Do not assume a flip-top closure is a pressure vessel.

How does the closure compare with MTC Bio conical centrifuge tubes?

T0050 has an integral hinged flip top and flat self-standing base. Conical screw-cap tubes have a different closure and bottom geometry; rotor fit and force ratings are not transferable.

Are the graduations calibrated volumetric measurements?

The manufacturer describes molded graduations, not volumetric certification. Use an appropriate calibrated device for critical volume measurement.

    Return Policy

    If a return is necessary, customers must start the process with Blue Tiger Scientific before returning any products to MTC Bio.

    • All return requests must be initiated with Blue Tiger Scientific before shipping a product back to MTC Bio.
    • Customers must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from Blue Tiger Scientific before returning any item.
    • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
    • Opened or used products cannot be returned—only unused items in original packaging will be accepted.
    • Unauthorized returns (without an RMA) will be refused and returned at the customer’s expense.
