APERA INSTRUMENTS / AI4204
T200-1 supplies four AMCO Clear polymer turbidity standards at 20, 100, 400 and 800 NTU for Apera TN400 and TN480 infrared meters. These are sealed, ready-to-use standards. A 0 NTU standard is not included, so plan the required zero-point reference separately.
One vial each at 20, 100, 400 and 800 NTU supports the corresponding nonzero calibration points. Select the correct value in the meter calibration menu.
The meter manuals distinguish these four nonzero standards from the refillable zero-point vial. Keep the nonzero vials sealed and replace them when expired.
Use the supplied standards at their labeled values. The product page describes ready-to-use polymer suspensions without dilution or routine resuspension.

These are documented parent-meter workflows, not meters supplied with this accessory. Match the part number and required calibration or vial procedure.

Parent turbidity meter. The meter and other accessories are separate from this order.
Refresh the nonzero standard set used by an existing TN400 or TN480. This is not a meter kit and does not supply a zero-point standard.
Follow the meter manual to choose two or more points that bracket the intended measurement range. Low-turbidity work may require 0 and 20 NTU, so this set alone does not cover that zero-point requirement.
For polymer standards unused for a long time, the parent manuals direct two slow inversions followed by a 2 minute rest. Avoid vigorous shaking and bubbles; the separate zero-point solution has different handling instructions.
Before ordering, confirm TN400 or TN480 and the required calibration values. T200-1 supplies four nonzero standards; arrange the zero-point reference separately when your procedure requires it.
Keep the vials sealed, never freeze them and follow the printed expiry. For safety or disposal questions, request the applicable product safety information and follow local requirements.
For warranty information or return authorization, contact Blue Tiger Scientific before sending any item. Do not assume that the parent meter warranty applies to a separately purchased accessory.
The set contains one standard vial each at 20, 100, 400 and 800 NTU. All four values are nonzero.
No. It does not include a 0 NTU standard. Follow your meter manual and obtain the required zero-point reference separately, especially for low-turbidity work.
Apera explicitly lists TN400 and TN480 infrared turbidity meters. Do not choose a standard for a different optical system solely because its NTU value matches.
No. The parent manuals direct users to keep the four nonzero standard vials sealed. Use each at its labeled value without dilution. Their handling is different from a refillable 0 NTU vial.
They are normally used directly. If unused for a long time, the parent manuals specify slowly inverting the polymer-standard vial twice and letting it stand for 2 minutes. Do not shake vigorously or introduce bubbles.
Keep them at room temperature and never freeze them. The parent manuals specify 5 to 30°C for calibration-solution storage. Follow the printed vial/lot expiry; the manufacturer photograph directs users to the vial bottom for the expiry date.
Keep it sealed. Follow the meter procedure for a clean exterior, using a small drop of silicone oil when needed, distributing it with a lint-free cloth and removing excess. Do not wash or refill the inside of a sealed nonzero standard vial.
No. A standard-material approval does not establish compliance of an instrument, laboratory or analytical method. Confirm that your complete meter, procedure and reporting requirements match the applicable method.
Each whole card opens the complete official PDF. Parent-meter and regional documents are labelled by scope; do not transfer a host’s specifications or warranty to a separately supplied accessory.
Parent-meter instructions, v5.5. Vial preparation, exterior oil application and calibration procedures; not a standalone accessory datasheet.
Parent-meter instructions for vial care and calibration. PDF cover text identifies v1.2 although the filename says v1.3; not a standalone accessory datasheet.
