PH850-A is the temperature-probe-only configuration of the PH850 platform. A pH electrode is not supplied, making it useful when you already own an appropriate BNC electrode or want to choose one for a specific sample.
Match the pH sensing glass and reference design to the sample, then confirm the meter connection. Organic solvents, high-viscosity samples, pure water and semi-solid foods can require different electrodes.
The platform supports one- to three-point automatic pH calibration and displays pH with temperature. A stability indication helps identify when the reading has settled.
Use fresh buffers that bracket the expected sample pH. Verify the selected buffer standard, connect the temperature probe and allow the sample to reach a stable temperature before recording results.
The IP57 instrument enclosure and protective boot suit portable work. A folding stand provides an angled view at the bench.
A rating for the meter enclosure does not give a connected electrode the same temperature or immersion limits. Keep plugs clean and dry and follow the electrode’s own care instructions.
