Freight
Orders ship FOB factory unless otherwise pre-arranged. Blue Tiger Scientific will attempt to ship from the closest distribution point (NJ, TN, or CA), although this is not guaranteed. If the preferred shipping method is not specified on the purchase order, we will ship via “Bestway”.
Cancellations
Cancellations require approval and must be submitted in writing. Cancellations received after production has begun are subject to a 30% fee. Custom products, including laminates, edges, and custom logos, are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. For orders purchased through authorized distributors like Blue Tiger Scientific, cancellations must start with the distributor.
Returns
All return requests must be made within 30 days of receiving the order. Once approved, an RMA# and the return address of the original shipping warehouse will be provided. The RMA# must be clearly written on the BOL, and returns must be sent prepaid freight to be accepted. To receive credit, returned items must be sent to the original shipping warehouse. Items must arrive in new, restockable condition to qualify for credit. A restocking fee of 30% will be applied to folding chairs, folding tables, stools, and other standard lightning ship items. A restocking fee of 40% will be applied to all production items, including those with wood components or fabric, such as laminate-top tables, banquet chairs, mobile cafeteria tables, stages, risers, room dividers, wooden folding tables, science tables, science cabinets, activity tables, etc. Returns will not be accepted on custom orders. For orders purchased through authorized distributors like Blue Tiger Scientific, returns must start with the distributor.
Freight Damage
All shipments must be inspected upon receipt. Damages must be noted on the BOL. Our concealed damages policy follows a one-third, one-third, one-third rule: Blue Tiger Scientific will credit one-third, NPS will cover one-third, and the carrier pays one-third. Damages must be reported within 15 days, and most carriers require a claim to be submitted within this period. For third-party or collect freight, the dealer files the claim. For prepaid or PPA, Blue Tiger Scientific will file the claim.
