Blue Tiger Scientific is an authorized reseller of National Public Seating (NPS) products. We manage your purchase and order-return requests. NPS provides its manufacturer warranty and is responsible for coverage decisions and manufacturer service.

Ordering and delivery

Availability and dispatch timing depend on the selected configuration and quantity. Delivery dates shown on this page are estimates, not guarantees. Supplier lead time, order processing and carrier transit can affect arrival. Contact Blue Tiger before ordering if you have a firm deadline.

Freight is confirmed for your destination and delivery requirements. Tell Blue Tiger about access restrictions or requested services, including liftgate, appointment or inside delivery, before your order is finalized. Additional carrier services may add charges. A manufacturer shipping estimate is not a promised arrival date.

Inspect your delivery

Inspect the shipment as soon as it arrives. Note visible damage or shortages on the freight bill or delivery receipt before signing. Keep the original cartons and packing materials. Report damage, shortages or an incorrect item to Blue Tiger immediately at info@bluetigerscientific.com, with photographs of the item, packaging and shipping label.

NPS requires damage to be reported within 15 days, and most carriers require a claim within 15 days. Contact us promptly so the applicable reporting requirements can be met. Damage reports are reviewed separately from unwanted-product returns.

Order returns: start with Blue Tiger

All product-return requests must be initiated through Blue Tiger Scientific at info@bluetigerscientific.com. For eligible, non-defective NPS products, request authorization within 30 days of receiving the order. A request does not guarantee acceptance. Eligibility, charges and written authorization must be confirmed before shipment.

• Include your Blue Tiger order number, NPS model or part number, serial number if applicable, quantity, contact details and reason for return.
• Wait for the RMA number and designated return address. Do not send a return to Blue Tiger’s business address or directly to NPS without the written instructions supplied for your return.
• Return approved items complete, unused and in new, restockable condition, with the original packaging, components, manuals and accessories. Items must arrive in that condition to qualify for credit.
• Follow the return instructions, include the RMA number on the bill of lading, and use prepaid, tracked and fully insured return shipping. The designated destination is the original shipping warehouse, not necessarily NPS headquarters.

NPS’s restocking fee is 30% for standard lightning-ship stools. Approved non-defective returns are subject to the applicable fee. Original outbound shipping is non-refundable under Blue Tiger’s return policy, including shipping costs incurred on orders advertised with free shipping. Return freight and insurance are the customer’s responsibility.

Custom orders are not returnable under NPS’s standard return terms. Special-order items and products identified as non-returnable are excluded under Blue Tiger’s published return policy. Used, incomplete or non-restockable products are not eligible for standard non-defective returns. Contact us before purchase if return eligibility is important to your selection.

Cancellations and changes

Start cancellation or order-change requests with Blue Tiger in writing. Cancellation requires NPS approval. Requests received after production has begun are subject to NPS’s 30% cancellation fee. Sending a request does not confirm that the order has been cancelled or changed.

Manufacturer warranty: NPS

NPS offers the original user a 10-year limited warranty from the purchase date against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for these products. NPS determines coverage and may repair or replace a covered defective product at its option. Misuse, abuse and neglect are excluded. The complete written NPS warranty governs coverage, remedies and limitations.

Blue Tiger Scientific is the reseller, not the manufacturer or warranty service provider. We do not issue a separate product warranty, determine NPS warranty coverage or perform warranty service.

NPS’s written warranty requires dealer authorization before returns or repairs. Any request to return a product purchased from Blue Tiger must begin with Blue Tiger. Do not send an item for return or service without the required authorization and shipping instructions.

International orders

International customers should request a quote to confirm the configuration, destination and shipping arrangements. Import duties, taxes and brokerage charges are the customer’s responsibility unless expressly included in the quote. International returns are not permitted under Blue Tiger’s published return policy. Confirm manufacturer warranty availability and service arrangements for your country with NPS before purchase.
