A square hardboard seat. A configuration for your workspace.
NPS 63-Series stools bring a contoured square hardboard seat and a grey steel frame to laboratories, classrooms, art rooms and hands-on workspaces. Choose fixed-height legs for a consistent setup, or tool-secured adjustable legs when your workspace calls for a configurable height. Add a backrest or keep the open, backless format.
The natural brown seat is secured with 16 rivets. Steel frame tubing and welded foot supports create a straightforward, durable structure for daily work. H and HB configurations add chrome-plated leg inserts; B and HB configurations include an adjustable backrest.

The selector uses 18, 24 and 30 inch nominal fixed labels or base adjustable labels. These identify configurations, not finished seat-height measurements. Select a configuration to view its price in the buying area.

A contoured hardboard seat is fastened with 16 rivets.

Choose a nominal 18, 24 or 30 inch fixed-height configuration.

H models add chrome-plated, tool-secured leg inserts.

HB models combine adjustable legs with an adjustable backrest.

Set all four inserts to the same height and securely tighten the supplied fasteners before use.

The steel frame includes welded foot supports and a grey finish.
For H and HB models, adjust the stool only while it is unoccupied and upside down. Set all four inserts equally and secure the fasteners before returning the stool upright. This is a tool-secured system, not a seated lever or gas-lift adjustment.
B and HB backrests use the backrest assembly steps. Follow the full manufacturer instructions for your configuration. Inspect fasteners before use and at least every six months, or after heavy or frequent use. Keep all feet stable on a flat, dry surface and never stand on the seat or foot supports.
Models without a letter suffix and B models have fixed-height legs. H and HB models add chrome-plated, screw-secured leg inserts for height adjustment. All are part of the same 6300 square-seat hardboard stool family.
These numbers identify nominal fixed-height configurations or adjustable base configurations, as labeled in the selector. They are configuration names, not finished seat-height measurements. Check your work-surface height, underside clearance, knee room and foot support before choosing.
B and HB models include a backrest that adjusts up and down and forward and back. Models without a suffix and H models are backless. Choose the backrest option and height configuration together.
The contoured square seat is natural brown hardboard, secured with 16 rivets. It is paired with a grey steel frame and welded foot supports.
Keep the stool unoccupied and upside down for height adjustment. Remove the insert fasteners, set all four inserts equally, then reinstall and securely tighten the supplied fasteners following the complete assembly instructions. Never adjust while seated. Fixed-height models do not use these leg-adjustment steps.
Use the backrest assembly steps for B and HB models and the adjustable-leg steps for H and HB models. Inspect fasteners before use, at least every six months and after heavy or frequent use. Do not stand on the seat or foot supports. Stop use if the stool is damaged or unstable.
NPS lists a 500 lb static seat load. The complete Bureau Veritas report records a 24-hour static seat test on a grey 6330H with its legs fully extended. This is a static seat-load result, not a dynamic-use or foot-support load rating.
