Does one pipettor cover 0.1 µL to 10 mL?
No. Those are the family’s overall limits across ten separate models. Select the catalog number and range shown in the ordering table.
What does DriftGuard do?
MTC Bio describes a click-based adjustment wheel with DriftGuard protection alongside a four-digit micrometer display for volume selection. It does not replace checking the set volume before use.
How do the 1000 µL and 1250 µL models compare?
H6800-1M covers 100–1000 µL; H6800-1MXL covers 200–1250 µL. The latter supports the capacity of suitable extended-length 1250 µL tips, but has a higher minimum setting.
Are pipette tips included?
This listing is one selected pipettor, not a tip pack or starter kit. Order compatible tips separately.
Which tips should I use?
MTC Bio describes compatibility with universal tips. Confirm fit and rated capacity; the manufacturer separately lists H6505 5 mL and H6510 10 mL Halo tips for the larger models.
Can the user calibrate the pipettor?
The design has a user-enabled calibration port. Calibration should be performed and documented using an appropriate verified method and trained personnel.
Does the ergonomic design prevent injury?
No injury-prevention guarantee is made here. The lightweight design, reduced actuation force and cushioned ejector are comfort features; technique and work scheduling still matter.
Is the carousel included?
No. A stand and multi-pipettor starter kit are separately cataloged products. Quantity one purchases only the selected Halo pipettor.
