Put the identifier on the tube top

Laser Tough-Spots provide a round label footprint for the top of a tube rather than a wraparound side label. The current HEASPOT-1000 specification is white, 3/8 inch (9.5 mm), with ideal usage stated for 0.5 mL tubes. Check the usable flat area on your cap: nominal tube volume alone does not establish the cap-top diameter or the fit of a round label.

Plan a full sheet without losing tube identity

The pack contains 20 sheets, totaling 3,840 labels. Before running an identification batch, check alignment with the actual sheet layout and your printer settings. Use a test sheet for the intended text size and keep the final identifier readable at 9.5 mm diameter. The manufacturer describes the sheets as designed not to jam printers; that is not a reason to assume every printer, feed path and print setting is suitable.

Distinguish label resistance from sample protection

The source describes resistance to most solvents and caustic agents and adhesion to most plastics, glass and metals.
