Human K2 EDTA Plasma Pooled is a biotechnology-grade matrix derived from multiple healthy donors and anticoagulated with dipotassium EDTA. This pooled format minimizes donor-specific variability and is ideal for assay calibration, drug monitoring, and biomarker quantification.

EDTA acts by chelating calcium ions, preventing coagulation and preserving analyte stability. This matrix is widely used in high-throughput LC-MS/MS workflows, surrogate matrix validations, and hormone or cytokine assays. Its unfiltered format retains native plasma components, supporting realistic assay conditions and interference testing.

Each batch is filtered through a 0.22 µm membrane and prepared using Type I ultrapure water to ensure reproducibility and low background interference. The product is stored at −20°C and should be aliquoted upon receipt to avoid freeze-thaw degradation. It is RUO-compliant and not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
