Build the platform around the vessels

A useful shaking setup starts with the vessels, not just a speed setting. The universal hi-lo platform and eight bungee cords let you arrange a holding matrix for different vessel shapes. The manufacturer photographs show alternative bottle and flask arrangements; plan the actual restraint pattern around your own vessels and keep the total load within 4.5 kg. The 11 × 11 in interior platform dimension is the working-area measurement to compare with your arrangement.

Controlled starts, flexible run lengths

Soft start and shutdown reduce abrupt changes when working with full vessels. Electronic motor feedback responds to changing or unbalanced loads, while overload shut-off protects against overloading. These features do not replace careful loading: choose a speed appropriate to your vessel, fill volume and method rather than treating the maximum speed as the default. Set a timed run in timed mode or use continuous operation.

Check the environment before allocating incubator space

The stated operating environment is 2–40°C and 20–80% relative humidity, non-condensing. Heathrow permits use in cold rooms and incubators within that range but excludes CO2 incubators. Check the complete equipment envelope, access to the controls, cord routing and vessel height; platform area alone is not an installation-clearance specification.

What the supplied kit includes

One shaker is supplied with the skid-free rubber mat, universal hi-lo platform with soft rubber edge bumpers, eight bungee cords and a low-voltage double-insulated power adapter.
