A shallow cold-work station

Use the 1 L pan when the task needs a small, accessible cold-work area rather than a deep bucket. Heathrow specifies ice, ice slurries and CO₂ pellets as cooling media. The polyurethane body includes metal inserts for stability, while the broad handles provide a defined place to grip the pan when repositioning it on the bench.

Keep the lid with the work

The close-fitting lid has a recessed knob and is designed to reduce evaporation. When access is needed, the keyed lid and pan bottom fit together so the lid can nest underneath instead of occupying a separate patch of bench. This arrangement keeps the two parts together through preparation and cleanup; it is not an airtight pressure enclosure.
