Autoclavable 60-well racks for 13 and 17 mm blood collection and culture tubes
Clinical labs handle many tube sizes at once, and one rack that takes both 13 mm and 17 mm tubes saves space. Heathrow Scientific’s Clinical 4-Way Tube Racks are polypropylene with 60 wells across four sides, hold tubes from 3.5 to 15 mL, and link to other racks end to end or side by side. Each order is a pack of 5.

Color is the only difference between the options. The assorted pack is for color coding; Heathrow does not state how many racks of each color it contains.
Four sides, two well sizes
Each rack has four sides with different well counts and sizes, so a single rack serves round, flat and conical bottom tubes:
- Side A: 12 wells, 13 mm
- Side B: 18 wells, 13 mm
- Side C: 12 wells, 17 mm
- Side D: 18 wells, 17 mm
Heathrow lists tube sizes of 3.5, 7, 10 and 15 mL and says the racks accommodate all brands of 13 and 17 mm round, flat and conical bottom blood collection and culture tubes. Tube bottoms nest in the well pockets, so tubes do not pass through the rack.
