Center the container and clean stir bar on the working surface before adjusting the speed. Follow the official 801 manual for operation and after-use cleaning.
If you are measuring while mixing, choose the electrode for the sample and confirm its meter connection separately. Keep the electrode clear of the rotating stir bar.
The 801 rotates a magnetic stir bar inside a vessel to mix a solution. It does not measure pH or conductivity.
The manual specifies 0–2300 rpm with no load. Actual operation depends on the sample and setup.
Apera specifies a maximum capacity of 3000 mL.
Yes. The standard kit includes two general-use stir bars, identified in the manual as B835 and B628.
No electrode holder is listed with the 801. Choose the 601 for a stirrer supplied with a holder, or consider the separate 602 holder.
The stirrer is 120 mm in diameter and 49 mm high, with a 120 mm working surface. Allow room for the vessel and cables.
Center the container and stir bar, connect power, then adjust the speed knob. After use, return the knob to its starting position, unplug power and clean the work area.
Apera specifies a two-year limited warranty from delivery for the stirrer, subject to the manufacturer’s terms and exclusions. See Additional Information.
