What volume range does this family cover?
The ten listed models span 0.2 µL to 10 mL collectively. Each pipettor operates only within its own selected range.
How is the volume adjusted?
A digital micrometer sets the volume, and a mechanical Roto-Lock secures the setting.
Can the lock be operated with one hand?
Yes. The manufacturer describes a top-mounted lock that can be engaged or disengaged with one hand.
Are these single-channel or multichannel pipettors?
These are single-channel pipettors. ProPette LE multichannel models are a separate family.
Do the large-volume models have tip ejectors?
No. MTC Bio specifically lists P5200-5M and P5200-10M without an ejector.
Is this a starter kit?
The P5200-SK option is: it includes four ProPette LE pipettors (10 µL, 20 µL, 200 µL and 1000 µL) and one pipette carousel. Every other option is an individual pipettor without a carousel.
Which tips should I select?
Match tips to the selected model. MTC Bio lists P4305-B or P4305-R for the 5 mL ProPette LE and P4311 for the 10 mL model.
How many pipettors are in one order unit?
One pipettor is supplied per each for the individual models. The P5200-SK starter kit contains four pipettors and a carousel. Select the catalog number corresponding to the required volume range.
