Programming via Android™ App or PC Software
Creating a protocol is straightforward with the IsoPure app or PC software, both provided on a USB flash drive with each instrument. You can program parameters such as mixing speed, sample temperature, and magnetization. When using the IsoPure app on an Android device, you can transfer saved protocols to the instrument via Bluetooth or the included barcode scanner. The PC software allows for programming and transferring protocols using a USB flash drive or barcode scanner. Free lifetime updates for the app ensure that users can access new features as they are introduced.
QR Code Scanning System
Each IsoPure™ Mini comes with a handheld scanner, making it easy and fast to load a protocol onto the instrument. After creating or opening a protocol on an Android device or connected PC, you have the option to display a QR code. Scanning the QR code instantly transfers the protocol. QR codes are also available in kit instruction manuals for loading optimized programs.

Sample Temperature Control
Heating sample mixtures during the lysis and elution steps can enhance results. The sample platform has heating strips that can be set to temperatures between ambient +5°C and 120°C. Both deep well plates and 6-well reagent vessels fit into these strips for efficient heat transfer. Two cooling fans help maintain the ambient temperature inside the housing and the heating strips.
Connection Ports
The IsoPure™ Mini can store up to 100 protocol files in its internal memory, which can be transferred between instruments or to a computer for storage or sharing. Simply insert the provided flash drive to export selected files. Protocol management can be done via the instrument's touch screen or with the included mouse.
UV Sterilization
An ultraviolet sterilization lamp (UVC) inside the processing chamber effectively eliminates most bacterial, viral, and stray genomic DNA contaminants. This additional safeguard reduces the risk of contamination and downstream amplification of unwanted targets.
Touch-Screen Control Panel
The control panel on top of the IsoPure™ Mini enables quick selection of stored protocols and instrument control. To run a protocol, select it from the file list, insert a prepared sample plate (or 6-well reagent vessel) and tip combs, and press the start button. Run parameters and operating status are displayed during sample processing.
IsoPure™ Consumables
Accuris offers magnetic tip combs, deep well plates, and 6-well sample strips designed to fit the IsoPure™ Mini. Produced using virgin polypropylene and packaged in a sterile environment, these consumables are contaminant-free. The 8-place magnetic tip combs lock into position inside the processing chamber. There are two options for sample vessels: 96 deep-well plates or 6-well sample strips. For processing up to 16 samples, deep well plates are used. When processing eight or fewer samples, the 6-well sample strips are ideal and can be loaded onto the included aluminum rack. These sample strips reduce waste and lower consumable costs when processing only a few samples.
