Capable of dispensing across up to 96 channels simultaneously, it significantly reduces the time and errors associated with manual pipetting. Equipped with a tablet featuring an intuitive app, programming and operation are a breeze. Unique among 96-well pipetting stations, the AutoMATE 96 provides a "hands-free" experience with motorized tip loading and ejection, and a four-position automated sliding platform ensuring precise tip alignment with microplates or reservoirs, allowing protocols to run from start to finish without manual intervention.

The AutoMATE 96 offers three interchangeable heads, available for purchase, that cover a wide pipetting range from 1.0µL to 1000µL. Its compact design allows it to fit into standard lab setups, including biosafety cabinets. The pipetting modes include standard pipetting for accurate transfer of reagents, multi-dispensing to automate repetitive filling tasks, secondary dispensing for plates with multiple samples or reagents, serial dilutions to avoid manual dilution errors, mixing for consistent reagent combination, and reverse pipetting for enhanced accuracy and precision with biological fluids.

In terms of software, the AutoMATE 96 provides both manual and automated programming modes to cater to different user preferences. The manual mode allows for efficient operation by selecting individual functions such as loading and ejecting tips, aspirating and dispensing reagents, and mixing. The automated mode lets users create complex protocols with multiple steps, including tip loading/ejection, reagent aspiration/dispensation, serial dilutions, tip rinsing, and cycle repetition, all at the touch of a button.

The workstation is compatible with all brands of microplates and reservoirs adhering to SLAS/ANSI formats, enhancing its versatility. It includes plate adapters for 384-well microplates and PCR plates. The fully automated tip loading and ejection mechanism ensures consistent, hands-free tip handling across all 96 wells, improving efficiency and reliability in laboratory processes.
