Pure water behaves differently. Your pH routine should too. The PH60-PW pairs PH60 with LabSen 805 for its defined sample workflow.

APERA INSTRUMENTS / PH60-PW / AI3723
Low-ionic-strength water can challenge an ordinary pH pen. PH60-PW pairs the portable PH60 body with the external LabSen 805 pH/temperature electrode, selected for suitable pure-water and low-ionic aqueous measurements.
Choose this kit for a defined pure-water method, not an expectation that every RO or distilled sample will read pH 7 instantly. Sample volume, air exposure and stabilization are part of the measurement.
LabSen 805
Supplied electrode
Replacement AI3233
0.01 pH
Meter resolution
Meter accuracy: ±0.01 pH ±1 digit
8-pin
Matched external connection
Not an ordinary BNC-only substitution
Choose by the sample and the supplied LabSen electrode. Each card opens that model’s product page; optional compatibility does not mean an extra probe comes in the box.
AI3723
Low-ionic / pure water
LabSen 805; sample handling matters.
AI3721
Wastewater / dirty liquids
LabSen 335; open-junction routine.
AI3725
Small sample volumes
LabSen 246-5; vessel and junction contact.
AI3733
Viscous liquids
LabSen 855; reference selected for the matrix.
AI3727
Salty / alkaline water
LabSen 845; pH, not salt concentration.
AI3731
Hot / caustic water
LabSen 865; separate probe and meter limits.
AI3729
Limited-HF sample work
LabSen 835; all chemistry/time bounds apply.
AI3735
Meat / solid foods
LabSen 765; blade-sheath sampling method.
METHOD READINESS MATTERS
250 mL+
Beaker sample volume in the US kit method
2-5 min
Typical stabilization in that method, not a guaranteed timer
Air contact
Keep unnecessary exposure low
Low-ionic water can change as it exchanges carbon dioxide with air. Use consistent temperature, volume and exposure, then wait for the stable indicator and a steady reading. A nominally pure sample is not automatically a fixed pH 7 reference.
Apera’s separate handbook discusses sealed-container or flow-cell practice for pure water. That general method advice does not establish an included or validated flow-cell accessory for this particular kit.
PH60 meter body, LabSen 805 external pH/temperature electrode, CalPod solution organizer, pH 4.00, 7.00 and 10.01 buffers, 3M KCl storage solution, protective cap, instructions and carrying case. Four AAA batteries are factory-installed per the model’s preparation instructions.
The current US kit buffer set is pH 4.00, 7.00 and 10.01. Match that working set to your sample and calibration method; do not assume every specialized PH60 package contains the same buffers.
SAMPLE FIT BEFORE FEATURE COUNT
Use a low-ionic-strength pH method with controlled handling. Conductivity, dissolved gases and sample history affect how the reading behaves.
Match the actual chemistry and procedure to the electrode. A list of water applications does not prove universal compatibility or a regulatory method.
Keep sample volume, temperature, exposure and stabilization consistent. A smaller or more exposed aliquot is not automatically equivalent to the documented beaker method.
Low-resistance olive-shaped glass membrane and long-life reference. The triple ceramic junction and its sample contact are part of the method, not a universal chemical-compatibility or maintenance-free guarantee.
A flow cell or sealed-vessel method can be relevant to low-ionic water, but no specific included or validated LabSen 805 flow-cell accessory is established for this kit. Do not select it as an inline system by assumption.
The current US kit manual describes at least 250 mL for its pure-water beaker method and typical stabilization of 2-5 minutes. Keep the probe still, wait for the stability indication and a stable reading, and minimize unnecessary air exposure.
Use the specified kit buffers and current instructions. Start at neutral as directed, then choose the appropriate additional points. Do not infer an included ORP or EC probe.
Keep glass and junction in contact with a representative sample, limit carryover, and wait for a stable reading under the defined method.
The current US specialized-kit manual specifies a PH60 display range of -2.00 to 16.00 pH, 0.01 pH resolution and ±0.01 pH ±1 digit meter accuracy. Those numbers do not by themselves establish probe-range, chemical compatibility or total method accuracy.
Temperature measurement/ATC is 0-100 °C in these current US kit instructions. A higher electrode-only temperature figure does not extend that electronic interval or validate every part of the assembly in the sample.
0-80 °C electrode rating in current US sources; separate from meter/ATC range
The listed LabSen 805 is non-refillable. Its internal reference/electrolyte description is separate from the external 3M KCl storage vial. Do not open/refill the reference because a chemical name appears in a table.
Rinse before and after measurements without rubbing the glass. Use contaminant-specific manufacturer care rather than an improvised chemical recipe; after deep cleaning follow the required rehydration and recalibration sequence.
Store the probe in its tightly closed vial with the specified 3M KCl solution, not tap, RO, distilled or deionized water. Keep solution fresh and the connector clean/dry. A dry or poorly stored probe needs the model’s recovery routine before calibration.
Apera’s electrode-family introduction explains the general technology. It is not an exact PH60-PW operating tutorial; use this kit’s current manual for sample preparation, limits and care.
These are separate instruments for different water-measurement tasks, not substitute specialized electrodes for PH60-PW. A general-water meter link does not establish HF, caustic, hot-process or direct-food compatibility.

The kit supplies the PH60 body, LabSen 805 pH/temperature electrode, CalPod organizer, pH 4.00/7.00/10.01 buffers, 3M KCl storage solution, protective cap, instructions and case. Four AAA batteries are factory-installed according to the model-specific preparation instructions.
No. Low-ionic water is sensitive to dissolved gases, sample handling and air contact. The kit does not create a universal pH 7 target or make every sample stabilize instantly.
The US pure-water beaker procedure calls for at least 250 mL. Do not transfer that procedure to an arbitrary tiny vial and assume equivalent results.
The US manual gives typical pure-water stabilization of 2-5 minutes. Wait for the stable indicator and an unchanged reading; the result depends on the sample and conditions, not a guaranteed timer.
No specific flow cell is listed in the supplied kit or validated for its connection. General pure-water flow-cell guidance is not evidence that an accessory is included or fits LabSen 805.
No. It is a non-refillable external electrode. Internal electrolyte descriptions are not instructions to open the reference; 3M KCl is used for storage/conditioning as directed.
The current US kit manual specifies 0.01 pH resolution and ±0.01 pH ±1 digit meter accuracy. That is not a guarantee of total pure-water method accuracy or an unrestricted electrode pH range.
Store in its tightly closed vial with the specified 3M KCl, not tap/RO/distilled/DI water. The exact replacement is LabSen 805, AI3233, with 8-pin connection. Follow current instructions for conditioning and recalibration.
