Air Science Return and Cancellation Policy of Shipped Products

• Return Authorizations are only allowed for standard, non-customized, products in brand new, unopened, unused condition and in the original packaging, within 30 days of the ship date. Custom or modified products cannot be cancelled or returned. Consumables, such as filters, regardless of condition, cannot be returned.

Return and Cancellation Conditions

• A restocking fee of 25% will apply to all items being returned.
• The customer will pay all shipping charges to and from Air Science USA LLC regardless of if they we’re included in original unit price or offered at no charge with the purchase.
• Goods damaged as a result of shipping cannot be returned. You will need to follow our damage claims policy below.
• Any damage as a result from improper customer handling or packaging cannot be returned or accepted by Air Science USA LLC.

Damaged Freight Claim Information

Caution: Inspect each shipment very carefully before acceptance.Claims for loss or damage sustained in transit must be filed with the carrier.

• Please remember that you are responsible for all freight claims and the cost of all replacement pieces for each shipment you accept.
• Carefully inspect each pallet or crate upon arrival. If a shipment is found to be damaged upon delivery you must have the driver/carrier document all damage details on the delivery receipt. This is essential or your claim may be denied.
• Keep all damaged items and packing material until claim is resolved between you and the carrier. Pictures of freight should also be taken.
• If pallets are stacked, please note “Stacked Pallets” on the delivery receipt (pallets are normally not stacked when shipped).

If freight damage is discovered, please refer to the following guidelines in order to process an effective freight claim.

Accepted Freight with Noted Visible Loss or Damage

Any external evidence of loss or damage must be noted on the freight bill or delivery receipt and signed by the courier’s agent or delivery driver. NOTE: Failure to properly describe evidence of loss or damage may result in the carrier refusing to honor a claim.

• Contact delivering terminal to initiate a claim form and inspection.
• Notify Blue Tiger Scientific or Air Science USA LLC.

Accepted Freight with Concealed Loss or Damage

In the event of accepted freight with concealed damage or loss, notification of loss or damage must be sent to the carrier within 48 Hours of receiving the freight to initiate a claim and obtain a claim number. Notification outside the 48 Hour time frame may result in denial of the damage claim.

• Contact the carrier immediately upon discovery of damage and request an inspection by the carrier’s agent.
• Carrier will determine inspection needs based on value and time elapsed.
• Notify Blue Tiger Scientific or Air Science USA LLC.

Unaccepted Freight

If substantial damage is noted upon inspection you have the right to refuse part or all of a shipment.NOTE: Any correspondence with Air Science regarding loss or damage must be accompanied by a copy of the shipping carrier’s report. Air Science will not accept returns that have not been authorized.

Shortage/Discrepancies

• Compare to packing list to note shortage or discrepancy
• Shortage or discrepancy must be reported in 5 days of receiving shipment. Notification outside the 5 day time frame will not be accepted.

Return Authorization Requirement

Before returning any product, you must contact the Air Science Service Department to obtain a “Return Authorization Number (RA)”. The following information must be made available when submitting a Return Authorization request.

• Model number
• Serial number
• Contact name
• Contact phone number
• Description of the problem with the unit.

The Return Authorization number must always appear on the packing slip and on the outside of the returned freight or package to avoid processing delays or refusal of delivery.

Cancellation of Product Before Shipping Policy

Standard products and filters can be cancelled at no charge only before they have shipped. Custom products cannot be cancelled after released into production and/or approval of drawings.
