Overview: The HI83325 benchtop photometer measures 8 different key water quality parameters using 9 methods. It features an innovative optical system with LEDs, narrow band interference filters, a focusing lens, and both silicon and reference photodetectors. This design ensures accurate, repeatable readings in every application.

Ideal for plant nutrient monitoring, this meter accurately tracks potassium, calcium, and magnesium—each vital to plant water uptake, cellular health, and immunity. The HI83325 also includes a digital pH electrode input that stores calibration data directly in the probe, making hot-swapping easy and reliable. Temperature is compensated automatically via an integrated thermistor.

The absorbance mode allows for validation using CAL Check™ standards and supports customized concentration vs. absorbance plotting for educational or method-development use. Data transfer is easy via two USB ports, and the internal rechargeable battery adds convenience for field use.

IDEAL APPLICATIONS: Environmental Monitoring, Water and Wastewater Treatment, Industrial Quality Control, Education, Agriculture and Aquaculture, Beverage Analysis.

Advanced Optical System

Innovative Design

The HI83325 features an innovative optical system with a beam splitter for simultaneous absorbance and reference detection. The reference detector compensates for light drift, ensuring unparalleled photometric performance.

High Efficiency LED Light Source

LED light sources offer superior luminous efficiency with less power and heat, providing better output in the blue/violet spectrum than tungsten lamps.

High-Quality Narrow Band Filters

Filters provide +/- 1 nm accuracy with 95% transmission efficiency, ensuring strong, stable signals and minimal wavelength error.

Reference Detector Stability

The internal reference detector actively stabilizes light source drift, eliminating inconsistencies due to ambient conditions or voltage variations.

25 mm Cuvette Compatibility

The large path length enhances measurement accuracy and reduces rotation-based errors during sample analysis.

Focusing Lens Precision

Lens directs light to the photodetector, avoiding errors caused by cuvette imperfections and eliminating the need for indexing.
