Choose HI93707-01 for 100 tests or HI93707-03 for 300 tests. These genuine Hanna pre-measured powder reagents replenish nitrite lr water-sample testing with the HI97707 portable photometer. The instrument, cuvettes, caps and CAL Check standards are sold separately.
Each packet is prepared with high-purity chemicals and marked with a lot number and expiration date for traceability. Select the test count that fits your sample workload; the pack size does not change the measurement range.
Nitrite reacts with the reagent to form a pink tint. The HI97707 reports nitrite-nitrogen by default; chemical-form selection also offers nitrite and sodium nitrite displays.
The HI97707 method measures 0 to 600 µg/L as nitrite-nitrogen (NO₂⁻-N). On HI97707 the stated range is 0 to 600 µg/L as NO₂⁻-N, equivalent to 0.000 to 0.600 mg/L as N, not the same numerical range as NO₂⁻. Other compatible meters can have different ranges. These are not nitrite high range reagents.
Zero the HI97707 with 10 mL of unreacted sample in a clean cuvette. Add one packet of HI93707-0 reagent. Shake gently for about 15 seconds, then follow the meter's 15 minutes reaction countdown before reading. The instrument method manual supplies the complete procedure, interference information and temperature guidance.
Keep the cuvette exterior clean and dry and avoid bubbles. Review the Safety Data Sheet before use and follow appropriate handling and disposal procedures. The photographs show manufacturer reference packaging; printed lot numbers and dates are illustrative, not a promise of the supplied stock expiration date.
Each selected pack supplies reagent for the stated 100 or 300 tests. Have a HI97707 photometer, suitable clean glass cuvettes with stoppers and caps, a water sample and the accessories required by the method ready separately. CAL Check standards verify the instrument; they do not replace reagents used to react with actual samples.
HI93707-01 provides 100 tests for lower-volume replenishment. HI93707-03 provides 300 tests for a larger sample workload using the same chemistry. Consider expected usage and the expiration date on the supplied packets before selecting a pack.
Additional exact-model compatibility documented by Hanna: HI83300, HI83303, HI83305, HI83314, HI83399. Select the matching nitrite LR method. Use each instrument’s own range, reporting basis and procedure; the HI97707 range above is not a universal benchtop range.
Yes. The HI97707 method manual explicitly lists HI93707-01 for 100 tests and HI93707-03 for 300 tests. Use the matching method and do not assume compatibility with every Hanna meter.
The test count. HI93707-01 supplies enough reagent for 100 tests and HI93707-03 supplies enough for 300 tests. Both use the same HI93707-0 powder chemistry.
The HI97707 range is 0 to 600 µg/L as nitrite-nitrogen (NO₂⁻-N), equivalent to 0.000 to 0.600 mg/L as N. This is not 0 to 600 µg/L as NO₂⁻. Use Chemical Form on the instrument for nitrite or sodium nitrite displays and follow its manual.
The HI97707 method uses 10 mL of sample and one packet of HI93707-0 per determination. Zero the instrument with the unreacted sample before adding reagent.
Shake gently for about 15 seconds. Then use the 15 minutes countdown specified by the HI97707 method. Follow the manual for the full measurement sequence and temperature guidance.
No. These sample reagents react with water samples to measure nitrite lr. CAL Check standards are separate products for checking instrument performance, not substitutes for sample reagents.
No. These are reagent-only replenishment options. The HI97707 photometer, cuvettes, caps, cleaning accessories and CAL Check standards are separately required or optional according to the method.
Check the packet lot number and expiration date, review the linked HI93707-0 Safety Data Sheet and follow the method manual. On HI97707 the stated range is 0 to 600 µg/L as NO₂⁻-N, equivalent to 0.000 to 0.600 mg/L as N, not the same numerical range as NO₂⁻. Other compatible meters can have different ranges. These are not nitrite high range reagents.
