A blinking warning symbol indicates a low battery level below 10%, with an automatic shutdown feature preventing erroneous readings when battery power is critically low. Conveniently, the photometer automatically logs your last 50 measurements, which are instantly accessible via the Log Recall Menu.

CAL Check^TM Validation for Peak Accuracy

Verify your photometer's accuracy with complete confidence before every phosphate test. Hanna's exclusive CAL Check^TM feature offers a stress-free, straightforward method to ensure your HI97717 is performing optimally. Simply insert the certified CAL Check^TM standards, and your meter will guide you through the validation process. If your photometer is found to be out of specification, it can be easily calibrated to your standard, guaranteeing reliable results.

Advanced Optical System for Superior Performance

Achieve highly accurate and repeatable phosphate measurements. The HI97717 incorporates a sophisticated optical system, utilizing a powerful Light Emitting Diode (LED) that provides more light while consuming less power. A precision narrow band interference filter further enhances accuracy, leading to highly consistent and reliable readings critical for various water quality applications.

Engineered for Robust Durability

Built to withstand the rigorous demands of real-world environments. The new IP67 rated body of the Hanna HI97717 ensures top performance even when exposed to dust, dirt, and water, as its internal optics are fully sealed. This durable photometer is designed to float if accidentally dropped in water, and it features an exclusive positive-locking system that guarantees cuvettes are consistently placed in the same position for accurate readings.
