Keep Your Electrodes Ready to Measure

A pH electrode is only as good as the way it's stored. When the glass bulb and reference junction dry out, response slows and readings drift. HI70300L keeps both hydrated between uses, so the electrode responds quickly and reads accurately the next time you need it.

Made for any pH or ORP electrode, from handheld testers and benchtop electrodes to industrial process probes pulled from service for calibration or maintenance.

How to Use It

Daily storage: add a few drops to the electrode's protective cap, or stand the tip in a small beaker of solution.

After cleaning: soak the electrode for at least one hour to rehydrate it before measuring.

Process probes: keep the tip wet in storage solution whenever a probe is pulled from the tank for calibration or maintenance.

Important

Never store a pH or ORP electrode in distilled or deionized water. Pure water draws ions out of the glass and reference system, which slows response and shortens the life of the sensor.

Shelf life: each unopened bottle is good for five years from its manufacture date. Check the expiration printed on the label before use.

Shipping Policy

All orders are shipped via FedEx from Hanna Instruments' fulfillment center in Smithfield, Rhode Island.
FedEx Ground is the standard method; expedited options (2-Day, Overnight) are available for an additional cost.
Hanna Instruments only ships to residential or business addresses within the United States (no PO Boxes).
Orders placed after business hours, weekends, or holidays will ship the next business day, pending product and carrier availability.
Shipping timelines may vary depending on product availability, order size, and carrier logistics.
Blue Tiger Scientific and Hanna Instruments are not responsible for carrier delays, weather-related disruptions, or other unforeseen delivery issues once the order has shipped.

Return Policy

All return requests must be coordinated directly with Blue Tiger Scientific before a product is sent back.
Products must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Blue Tiger Scientific before being returned.
Products must be returned in new or like-new condition, with the original packaging and proof of purchase (such as an invoice or packing slip).
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
Unauthorized returns (without an RMA) will be refused and returned at the customer's expense.
Returns are subject to inspection and approval. Products not in acceptable condition may be denied credit.
Some products, such as custom-built, special order, and hazardous materials, may not be eligible for return.

Warranty Policy

Hanna Instruments' products are covered by their Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
All warranty claims and services are handled directly by Hanna Instruments.
Warranty periods vary by product. If unspecified, the standard warranty term is 18 months from the Hanna Instruments factory ship date.
If you experience an issue believed to be covered under warranty, please contact Hanna Instruments for guidance on how to submit your warranty request to Hanna Instruments.
Customers must follow Hanna Instruments' warranty submission process, including providing a claim number, product model and serial number, and a detailed description of the issue.
Hanna Instruments will determine whether products are repaired, replaced, or otherwise serviced under warranty.
Note: Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorized repairs, or improper storage and handling.

In the event of backorders, you may request partial shipments.
