For precise pH measurements on the go, the HI98190 portable pH meter includes a robust HI12963 titanium body amplified pH electrode. This electrode features an integrated temperature sensor, ensuring automatic temperature compensation for accurate readings even in fluctuating conditions. The titanium construction offers exceptional chemical resistance to harsh substances and is designed for long-lasting durability. The HI12963 electrode utilizes a convenient Quick Connect DIN connector, providing a secure and waterproof connection without the need for threading.

Our intelligent CAL Check™ system proactively monitors the calibration process, providing users with real-time feedback to ensure measurement accuracy. By comparing current calibration data with previous records, the meter can identify potential issues such as a dirty or broken probe, as well as possible contamination of pH buffer solutions. Following calibration, a comprehensive probe condition indicator is displayed as a percentage (0-100% in 10% increments) on the measurement screen and within the GLP data. This indicator reflects the overall health of the pH electrode based on its offset and slope characteristics. The instrument supports up to five-point pH calibration using seven pre-set standard buffers and five user-defined custom buffers, achieving an exceptional pH accuracy of ±0.002 with a resolution of 0.001 pH.

In measurement mode, a simple press of the "AutoHold" virtual key will freeze a stable reading on the display. This feature is invaluable for easy recording and logging of measurements. Additionally, an optional "out of calibration range" warning can be activated to alert users if a current reading falls outside the calibrated pH values, ensuring data integrity.

The log-on-demand function allows users to conveniently store up to 200 data sets (100 for pH and 100 for mV). This logged data, along with comprehensive Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) information, can be easily transferred to a computer using the optional Hanna HI920015 micro USB cable and HI92000 software for further analysis and reporting.

The high-contrast graphic LCD provides excellent readability in various lighting conditions, from bright outdoor sunlight to dimly lit indoor environments, thanks to its adjustable backlight. The intuitive interface combines dedicated and virtual keys, offering seamless operation in multiple language options.

The included compact and rugged carrying case is custom-designed with thermoformed inserts to securely hold all essential components for field measurements. This includes the meter, electrode, beakers, calibration buffer solutions, cleaning solutions, and storage solutions, ensuring everything is organized and protected for portability.

All orders are shipped via FedEx from Hanna Instruments' fulfillment center in Smithfield, Rhode Island.
FedEx Ground is the standard method; expedited options (2-Day, Overnight) are available for an additional cost.
Hanna Instruments only ships to residential or business addresses within the United States (no PO Boxes).
Orders placed after business hours, weekends, or holidays will ship the next business day, pending product and carrier availability.
Shipping timelines may vary depending on product availability, order size, and carrier logistics.
Blue Tiger Scientific and Hanna Instruments are not responsible for carrier delays, weather-related disruptions, or other unforeseen delivery issues once the order has shipped.

Return Policy

All return requests must be coordinated directly with Blue Tiger Scientific before a product is sent back.
Products must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Blue Tiger Scientific before being returned.
Products must be returned in new or like-new condition, with the original packaging and proof of purchase (such as an invoice or packing slip).
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
Unauthorized returns (without an RMA) will be refused and returned at the customer's expense.

Warranty Policy

Hanna Instruments' products are covered by their Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
