HI97715 Portable Ammonia Photometer Front

Smart Features for Confident Ammonia Testing

The HI97715 guides you through every step of your measurement workflow. On-screen tutorials and animated prompts make setup, calibration, and testing easier than ever. Use the dedicated help key to access Tutorial Mode at any time for instant support.

Energy-Saving Auto-Off and Battery Alerts

Maintain uptime while protecting your results. The photometer features an auto-off function to conserve energy and extend battery life. If the battery level falls below 10%, an icon will flash on screen. When battery power is critically low, the meter will shut off automatically to avoid incorrect readings.

Automatic Data Logging

Never lose track of your last results. The HI97715 automatically stores your last 50 readings. View them instantly using the Log Recall Menu to analyze trends and maintain measurement accuracy over time.

CAL Check™ Accuracy Assurance

Validate performance with certified standards. Hanna’s CAL Check™ system allows you to verify your photometer’s accuracy using provided CAL Check™ cuvettes. If the meter is out of spec, simply recalibrate to restore confidence in your readings.

Advanced Optical System

Powerful LED optics deliver unmatched reliability. The HI97715 uses a Light Emitting Diode (LED) and narrow band interference filter to deliver more light, better stability, and superior repeatability—while using less power.

Durability That Performs Anywhere

Built for the real world—indoors or out. The IP67 waterproof housing protects internal components from moisture, dust, and dirt. The meter even floats in case it’s dropped into water. An exclusive locking cuvette holder ensures exact cuvette placement for consistent results.

Portable and User-Friendly

Comfortably handheld or stable on your benchtop. A backlit LCD display ensures easy reading from any angle or light condition. Three AA batteries power the unit for more than 800 measurements—perfect for the field or the lab.
