Folate Binding Protein (FBP) is a high-affinity carrier protein derived from bovine milk, responsible for the transport and cellular uptake of folic acid and its derivatives. Supplied as a 2 mg/mL solution in PBS, this reagent is purified to >95% and has a molecular weight of 26 kDa. It is widely used in folate receptor studies, drug delivery research, and nutrient transport assays.

FBP plays a critical role in mediating folate uptake via receptor-mediated endocytosis, particularly in epithelial tissues and cancer cells.
