CNP-22 (Human) is a biotechnology-grade peptide corresponding to the 22-amino acid active form of C-type natriuretic peptide. With a molecular weight of 2197.6 g/mol, this cyclic peptide features a disulfide bond between Cys6 and Cys22, which stabilizes its conformation and is essential for receptor binding. CNP-22 plays a critical role in vascular tone regulation, endochondral bone growth, and metabolic homeostasis through activation of guanylate cyclase B (GC-B).

This reagent is widely used in studies of skeletal dysplasia, particularly achondroplasia, where CNP analogs such as vosoritide have demonstrated therapeutic potential. CNP-22 has also been implicated in modulating endothelin signaling, nitric oxide pathways, and smooth muscle proliferation. Supplied as a 500 μg powder aliquot, it is suitable for in vitro applications including receptor binding assays, pharmacokinetic profiling, and peptide signaling studies. The peptide is stable at -20°C and should be reconstituted in sterile buffer prior to use. All components are highly pure and RUO-compliant—this product is not intended for human or animal use.
