Hanna HI97736 Photometer Interface Display

Smarter Design for Smoother Testing

Let the HI97736 photometer guide your workflow with clarity. On-screen instructions and animations assist you through each step of setup, calibration, and measurement. Access Tutorial Mode at any point using the dedicated help button for real-time support as you test.

Automatic Power Optimization

Built-in safeguards prevent battery drain and measurement errors. The auto-off feature conserves power by turning the meter off when not in use. If the battery level drops below 10%, a blinking alert will notify you. When battery levels reach a critical low, the photometer will shut down to ensure test integrity is never compromised.

Convenient Data Recall

Keep track of your testing history without lifting a finger. The HI97736 automatically stores the last 50 test results, which can be instantly reviewed through the Log Recall Menu to monitor trends and validate results.

CAL Check™ Validation System

Maintain peak accuracy with certified performance standards. Hanna’s exclusive CAL Check™ functionality allows you to easily verify the accuracy of your HI97736. Simply insert the provided CAL Check™ standards and follow the guided prompts. If out of spec, you can recalibrate to maintain consistent and trustworthy performance.

Advanced Optical System for Reliable Measurements

Delivering accurate results with less energy consumption. The HI97736 utilizes a bright LED light source and a narrow band interference filter to enhance the clarity and consistency of your magnesium and total hardness readings while keeping energy usage low.

Rugged, Waterproof Construction

Engineered to withstand demanding field and lab environments. Its IP67-rated housing resists water, dust, and impact, while sealed optics protect internal components. Should the meter fall into water, it floats for easy recovery. Hanna’s secure cuvette locking system ensures precise, repeatable alignment every time you test.

Portable, Backlit, and Built for the Field

Compact and user-friendly in any setting. The HI97736 fits comfortably in your hand for portable use or sits steadily on a benchtop. A backlit LCD screen offers visibility from any angle, day or night, while the included AA batteries deliver more than 800 measurements per set.
