Supplied as: Human serum
Applications: molecular tool for various interference studies
Storage: -20°C
Keywords: high RF, RF > 2500 IU/mL, high RF serum
Grade: Biotechnology grade. All products are highly pure. All solutions are made with Type I ultrapure water (resistivity >18 MΩ-cm) and are filtered through 0.22 um.

This human serum sample contains elevated levels of rheumatoid factor (RF > 2500 IU/mL) and is designed for interference testing in immunoassays and serologic platforms. Rheumatoid factor is an autoantibody commonly associated with autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, and its presence can lead to false positives or assay interference in clinical diagnostics. This reagent enables developers to assess assay robustness and specificity in the presence of high RF concentrations.

Supplied in 1 mL aliquots and stored at –20°C, this biotechnology-grade serum is filtered through 0.22 µm membranes and prepared using Type I ultrapure water (resistivity >18 MΩ·cm). It is ideal for validating RF interference in chemiluminescent, ELISA, and lateral flow formats. Researchers and assay developers can use this material to simulate real-world autoimmune interference scenarios and optimize assay performance accordingly.

Key benefits:

  • Human serum with RF > 2500 IU/mL for interference testing
  • Supports validation of immunoassay specificity and robustness
  • Filtered and aliquoted for reproducibility and long-term storage
  • Compatible with ELISA, CLIA, and serologic platforms
  • Biotechnology grade; prepared in ultrapure water

Indication for Use:
This product is for Research Use Only (RUO). This product is not for administration to humans or animals. This product is not for human or veterinary diagnostic or therapeutic use.
