High HAMA K3 EDTA Plasma is a human plasma matrix containing elevated levels of Human Anti-Mouse Antibodies (HAMA), collected in K3 EDTA anticoagulant tubes. This product is specifically designed for evaluating immunoassay interference caused by HAMA, which can bind nonspecifically to both capture and detection antibodies, leading to false positives or skewed results.

HAMA interference is a critical challenge in assay development, particularly in diagnostics that rely on murine monoclonal antibodies. This plasma sample enables researchers to assess assay robustness, validate mitigation strategies, and ensure clinical reliability. The yellow-orange appearance reflects standard plasma coloration, and the sample is aliquoted to minimize freeze-thaw degradation.
