Designed for precision in the field, the HI98193 Portable DO and BOD Meter delivers reliable dissolved oxygen measurements with advanced compensation features and intuitive operation. This waterproof IP67-rated meter is compatible with the HI764073 polarographic DO probe, which features preformed, field-replaceable PTFE membranes and a secure, waterproof DIN connector for quick setup and dependable performance.

With an extended DO range up to 50.00 mg/L and 600% saturation, the HI98193 offers accurate readings even in challenging environments. Pressure compensation is automatic via the built-in barometer or manually adjustable, and pressure readings are available in multiple units including mmHg, atm, and psi. The built-in temperature sensor ensures real-time automatic temperature compensation with calibration support at one or two points.

The meter also supports manual salinity input for DO compensation in saltwater and includes built-in BOD, OUR, and SOUR calculation methods for advanced testing workflows. Up to 400 readings can be logged on-demand and transferred via USB to a PC using Hanna's HI92000 software.

The HI98193 is available in three configurations to suit different needs: the HI98193/10 includes the DO probe with a 10-meter cable; the HI98193 standard kit includes the meter and accessories; and the HI98193-03 offers a meter-only version. Each configuration includes the rugged carrying case with space for calibration supplies, beakers, and accessories for convenient field or lab use.

All orders are shipped via FedEx from Hanna Instruments' fulfillment center in Smithfield, Rhode Island.
FedEx Ground is the standard method; expedited options (2-Day, Overnight) are available for an additional cost.
Hanna Instruments only ships to residential or business addresses within the United States (no PO Boxes).
Orders placed after business hours, weekends, or holidays will ship the next business day, pending product and carrier availability.
Shipping timelines may vary depending on product availability, order size, and carrier logistics.
Blue Tiger Scientific and Hanna Instruments are not responsible for carrier delays, weather-related disruptions, or other unforeseen delivery issues once the order has shipped.

Return Policy

All return requests must be coordinated directly with Blue Tiger Scientific before a product is sent back.
Products must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Blue Tiger Scientific before being returned.
Products must be returned in new or like-new condition, with the original packaging and proof of purchase (such as an invoice or packing slip).
