Pepsin Digested BSA (Highly Pure) is a biotechnology-grade reagent consisting of bovine serum albumin enzymatically hydrolyzed by pepsin. Supplied as a 2.5% yellow solution, this product contains a mixture of low molecular weight peptides that retain the blocking and stabilizing properties of native BSA while minimizing non-specific interactions. It is ideal for use in reagent formulation, immunoassays, and biochemical applications where reduced background and enhanced specificity are critical.
