    Microparticle Activation Buffer (100 mL) is an optimized versatile buffer for the conjugation of antibodies, proteins, peptides and small molecules to polystyrene (Latex) microparticles and nanoparticles. This buffer can be used to dilute particles from stock solutions and activate particles for covalent linkage (such as NHS and EDC activation) and wash particles after activation and before conjugation. Custom bulk orders of this product are available upon request.

Microparticle Activation Buffer is a biotechnology-grade reagent formulated to prepare latex and magnetic microparticles for surface functionalization and conjugation. Supplied in two formats—1 L (Catalog #B2010003L) and 100 mL (Catalog #B2010003S)—this buffer maintains optimal conditions for activating carboxyl or other reactive groups on particle surfaces. With a pH of 6.1, it supports efficient coupling reactions while preserving particle integrity and dispersion.

Researchers and assay developers working in immunodiagnostics, biosensor development, and particle-based ELISAs rely on activation buffers to ensure consistent and reproducible conjugation of antibodies, proteins, or ligands to microparticles. This buffer is filtered through 0.22 µm membranes and prepared with ultrapure water to ensure high purity and minimal background interference.
