The HI99161 features the FC2023 replaceable probe, meticulously engineered for accurate pH measurements in semi-solid food samples such as processed meats, soft cheeses, soups, sauces, condiments, jams, jellies, dough, ice cream, sushi, and rice.
The open junction design of the electrode minimizes clogging caused by suspended solids and proteins commonly found in food and dairy products. This results in more stable and reliable pH readings and reduces the need for frequent maintenance.
The conical shaped glass tip allows for direct penetration into solids, semi-solids, and emulsions, enabling pH measurement in a wide variety of food consistencies. Low Temperature (LT) glass ensures faster response times, even at lower temperatures.
