HI782 High Range Nitrate Checker vs HI781 Low Range Nitrate Checker

The HI782 was designed for aquarists managing higher‑than‑average nutrient levels, such as fish‑only saltwater tanks or corals tolerant of nitrate concentrations at 30 ppm or more. Very low nitrate levels are critical for delicate reef aquariums, as excess nitrate can harm or kill sensitive corals and invertebrates. For ultra‑low range precision (0.00 to 5.00 ppm), Hanna offers the HI781 Marine Nitrate Low Range Checker HC. For freshwater testing, Hanna recommends the HI97728 Nitrate Portable Photometer.

    • Orders placed after business hours, weekends, or holidays will ship the next business day, pending product and carrier availability.
    • Shipping timelines may vary depending on product availability, order size, and carrier logistics.
    • Blue Tiger Scientific and Hanna Instruments are not responsible for carrier delays, weather-related disruptions, or other unforeseen delivery issues once the order has shipped.

    Return Policy

    • All return requests must be coordinated directly with Blue Tiger Scientific before a product is sent back.
    • Products must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Blue Tiger Scientific before being returned.
    • Products must be returned in new or like-new condition, with the original packaging and proof of purchase (such as an invoice or packing slip).
      Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
    • Unauthorized returns (without an RMA) will be refused and returned at the customer's expense.
