Hanna’s HI12963 titanium‑body pH electrode is engineered for demanding wastewater and environmental applications, combining general‑purpose (GP) glass, a spherical sensing bulb, durable titanium construction, and a renewable cloth junction with gel electrolyte. This design supports stable, clog‑resistant performance across industrial, municipal, and environmental pH monitoring.

General Purpose Glass Formulation

General‑purpose (GP) glass provides reliable performance for routine pH measurements at ambient temperatures. GP glass typically has a resistance of about 100 megaohms at 25 °C and is well‑suited for samples between 0 and 80 °C, making the HI12963 ideal for everyday wastewater and environmental testing.

Spherical Bulb

The spherical sensing bulb is optimized for general‑purpose use, providing consistent contact with a wide range of sample types. While conical tips are used for penetration and flat tips for surface measurements, the spherical design offers broad compatibility and dependable performance in routine applications.

Titanium Body

The titanium body enhances durability and measurement stability by providing strong corrosion resistance and improved immunity to electrostatic and magnetic interference. This makes the HI12963 particularly effective in harsh wastewater environments and high‑conductivity samples.

Cloth Junction

The renewable cloth junction supports long‑term, clog‑resistant performance in samples containing solids or heavy contamination. As the cloth is pulled to expose fresh material, the junction is renewed, helping maintain stable readings even in challenging wastewater conditions.

Quick Connect DIN Connector

The HI12963 uses a Quick Connect DIN interface for fast, secure attachment to compatible Hanna meters such as the HI98190 and HI991001. This proprietary connector simplifies installation and ensures a stable electrical connection for accurate pH measurement.

    • FedEx Ground is the standard method; expedited options (2-Day, Overnight) are available for an additional cost.
    • Hanna Instruments only ships to residential or business addresses within the United States (no PO Boxes).
    • Orders placed after business hours, weekends, or holidays will ship the next business day, pending product and carrier availability.
    • Shipping timelines may vary depending on product availability, order size, and carrier logistics.
    • Blue Tiger Scientific and Hanna Instruments are not responsible for carrier delays, weather-related disruptions, or other unforeseen delivery issues once the order has shipped.

    Return Policy

    • All return requests must be coordinated directly with Blue Tiger Scientific before a product is sent back.
    • Products must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Blue Tiger Scientific before being returned.
    • Products must be returned in new or like-new condition, with the original packaging and proof of purchase (such as an invoice or packing slip).
      Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
    • Unauthorized returns (without an RMA) will be refused and returned at the customer's expense.
      Returns are subject to inspection and approval. Products not in acceptable condition may be denied credit.
    • Some products, such as custom-built, special order, and hazardous materials, may not be eligible for return.

    Warranty Policy

    • Hanna Instruments' products are covered by their Limited Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
    • All warranty claims and services are handled directly by Hanna Instruments.
    • Warranty periods vary by product. If unspecified, the standard warranty term is 18 months from the Hanna Instruments factory ship date.
    • If you experience an issue believed to be covered under warranty, please contact Hanna Instruments for guidance on how to submit your warranty request to Hanna Instruments.
    • Customers must follow Hanna Instruments' warranty submission process, including providing a claim number, product model and serial number, and a detailed description of the issue.
    • Hanna Instruments will determine whether products are repaired, replaced, or otherwise serviced under warranty.
    • Note: Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by misuse, accidents, unauthorized repairs, or improper storage and handling.
