The HI83314 benchtop photometer is designed for wastewater professionals who need accuracy, flexibility, and efficiency in one compact unit. It measures 10 key parameters using 20 methods, giving users multiple ranges and chemistry options. Parameters include COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), phosphorus, and nitrogen—essential for both municipal and industrial monitoring. The advanced optical system combines LEDs, narrow band filters, a focusing lens, and dual detectors (absorbance and reference) to ensure stable, repeatable measurements every time.

Integrated pH capability makes the HI83314 even more versatile. Its digital pH input works with intelligent glass electrodes that store calibration data on an internal microchip, allowing hot-swapping without recalibration. Automatic temperature compensation is built in, with a fast-response thermistor at the sensing tip.

Connectivity is streamlined with two USB ports: USB-A for flash drives and micro USB-B for PC connection or power. An internal 3.7 V rechargeable lithium-polymer battery provides portable operation.

The absorbance mode allows system validation using CAL Check™ standards and supports five selectable wavelengths (420, 466, 525, 575, 610 nm) for custom curve plotting—ideal for method development or teaching Beer–Lambert law concepts.

FedEx Ground is the standard method; expedited options (2-Day, Overnight) are available for an additional cost.
Hanna Instruments only ships to residential or business addresses within the United States (no PO Boxes).
Orders placed after business hours, weekends, or holidays will ship the next business day, pending product and carrier availability.

Return Policy
