Accuris qMAX™ One Step Kits enable highly sensitive real-time RT-qPCR assays directly from RNA templates, simplifying workflows with their ready-to-use 2X qPCR master mix and 20X reverse transcriptase formulations.

The optimized buffer contains powerful RNase inhibitors and a highly thermostable MMLV-derived reverse transcriptase for robust first-strand cDNA synthesis. The Accuris Hot Start Taq employs an antibody-mediated hot start mechanism, allowing sample preparation at room temperature and becoming active only after an initial incubation at 95°C, thus minimizing non-specific amplification. An inert blue dye in the Taq master mix aids in simplifying pipetting and reducing errors during real-time PCR.

qMAX™ kits are available in three versions:

  • qMAX Green One Step kits: Utilize a proprietary intercalating dye with higher fluorescence and lower PCR inhibition compared to popular dyes like SYBR.

  • qMAX Probe One Step kits: Optimized for use with TaqMan, Scorpions, and molecular beacon probes.

  • qMAX Probe One Step Multiplex kits: Designed for efficient probe-based detection of multiple targets in a single reaction well, ideal for complex RNA samples, including low-copy number viral RNA. These kits balance critical factors such as magnesium chloride and deoxynucleotide concentrations, Taq Polymerase and reverse transcriptase concentrations, and the ionic conditions of the reaction buffer.

All Accuris One-Step Kits support standard and fast cycling protocols, offering increased sensitivity, speed, and reproducibility for a wide range of samples and targets. The polymerase mix is available with different levels of ROX reference dye for compatibility with all qPCR instruments during real-time PCR.

Bulk Packaging Available:

For high-throughput users, Accuris now offers their complete line of real-time PCR, qPCR and RT-qPCR reagents in bulk packaging at discounted prices. Bottle sizes of 25ml (2500 reactions) and 50ml (5000 reactions) are available for qMAX SYBR Green and qMAX Probe mixes. One Step RT-qPCR kits are also available in bulk for 2500 and 5000 reactions, ideal for labs performing pathogen detection.
